  1. @Jimbo Thanks! Really appreciate it!
  2. I am about to convert to ISY on Polisy and I was unaware of PG2 being deprecated until I saw it on the ISY finder listed that way. My issues with all of this is the lack of an easy way to convert (Z wave, ELK module, network resources, etc...) and then I find out that the new node servers (the reason I bought the Polisy I thought) now will cost more money. I am not saying all the hard work is not worth it and that the developers do not deserve it but I run about 10 node servers and already 2 of them are $30 a piece and one is a yearly subscription. So I paid around $400 for the polisy, another $50 for the z wave stick, and now I might have the potential to spend over $300 more on node servers? There really should be notes when buying a Polisy about the extra expense you might incur if you want to move the ISY to it (which why would you not want to since just the speed of loading programs in the AC alone is awesome), especially when I already bought the ELK module once. I mean what is the incentive to move to PG3 if the node server on PG2 is free but costs $30 on PG3? Will the PG2 node servers still get updates? If we are getting more goodness then it is worth it I guess but right now all of this is very hard. For $300 I would want to press one upgrade button and have it all done automatically. Sorry for the rant but I am in he middle of this conversion and it is really annoying and I haven't even begun to change all the ELK programs which I won't have voice anymore apparently. One good thing I found, since I have Smartthings as the primary Z Wave controller I was able to just shift all the devices to the Polisy and only have to rename them back to what they were. I really do appreciate UD and this forum for all the hard work they do.
  3. Looks like Prowl is only on iPhone and thus will definitely not work with Android Auto. Sure would be nice to get notifications on Android Auto from the ISY without using a slow text message.
  4. I see the exact same with the font size. It is very annoying to me. Sure wish there was a way to make the default another size.
  5. Does it work with Android Auto?
  6. Any idea how to get Pushover notifications to work on Android Auto? I'd make the switch completely if you could. Thanks!
  7. That was fast and it is now working again, and below was Michel's response. I do not know how I deleted the node server from the ISY but you'd think there should be some sort of error if you get in this situation. Michel Kohanim wrote: Thank you Brent. The issue seems to be that you have removed your Rachio node server from ISY but not from PGC. So, it keeps trying to update values (20 per second) and causes a bottleneck. Please remove Rachio from the cloud and you should be OK. With kind regards, ****************************** Michel Kohanim CEO
  8. @MrBill, ticket open, thanks. @larryllix, great idea but unfortunately it did not help. Thanks to both of you!
  9. I did not find anything flashing or scrolling events in the event viewer. I even changed the IP of the ISY to make sure something external was causing it. I also hard reset the ISY and nothing has cured the issue. Time open a ticket.
  10. Thanks, I checked and it looks like there are a ton of -170001 errors. On the wiki -170000 means web module has no free space. Any ideas how to correct that before I create a ticket?
  11. Is anyone else seeing errors when trying to use the connectivity tools on the portal (Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT)? I thought maybe there was maintenance happening this weekend but I am still getting the errors. I have been on version 5.3.3 for a long time so that's not the issue. Reboots, refreshes on the portal and on the ISY for the portals have not helped. Thanks!
  12. I figured out what causes this issue. If you forget all devices and then re-discover it does not put it back into the routine.
  13. I reconnected the skill, still not working. I created an entire new routine with a new variable. Worked. I used a new value and a new routine with the same variable in the ISY. Worked. I then deleted a routine and created a new one the exact same. Worked. All my routines are missing the device and just updating that device does not fix them and I have no idea what made them remove the device. I guess I will delete all of them and re-create them. Thank you for the help.
  14. This has stopped working all of a sudden. Is anyone else seeing the same? In the ALexa app the device was no longer in there so I added it back but still will not work when I trigger the device.
  15. Same, with 5.3.3. I only have Synchronize and now when I add a device to Smartthings using the ISY as the secondary controller I can't get the device to show up in the ISY like it would before using repair links. Synchronize New and Deleted and All do not add them either. Any ideas on how to get new zwave devices from Smartthings into the ISY now?
  16. Yes, but he didn't have an answer for the folder issue or the all programs become enabled issue. He did give me the idea for the program to disable all programs that need to be so I can recover quicker.
  17. I never did find a fix for the folder condition issue so I have since added the state variable to all If conditions of all disabled programs. Big pain to do and I will have to remember that any future disabled programs with an If condition will need this addition. I even tried two variables for the If condition for the folder but it still would stop execution without both variables changing to true.
  18. One thing that bit me was not putting the memory expansion back into Java after I had updated Java. Without that I cannot load programs in the admin console at all. If the admin console is slow to respond, it is likely you need to increase the amount of memory allocated to the Java runtime (JRE). Open the Java Control Panel, select Java tab, press View button, then add or modify the Runtime Parameter -Xmx to the following: -Xmx512m Press Ok to close the window, then Press Apply to save the changes
  19. Thanks Bumbershoot! Not sure how I missed this reply. So, I created a ticket and the only things they can suggest is swap out SD card (done), send all the logs when it happens (done) and update to the latest version 5.3.1 (Done, previously I was on 5.3.0). They were not able to figure out why all the programs become enabled and it is still doing it with all the changes. Another suggestion they gave was to create a program that would disable all the programs that need to be. I did that but once they all become enabled the ISY is so overwhelmed I can't get it to run the disable program and I still have to hard reset and restore. So to combat that issue I put all of my programs into a folder just under the top level with only a few programs left top level that are not in that folder. I created a state variable in a program top level that would get set if that program becomes enabled and used that variable as a condition on the folder where all the other programs are not located. That way if all programs become enabled it will stop executing and I can run the disable programs program and be back up and running much quicker than a hard reset and restore. Now I am fighting an issue where that folder randomly goes red but the variable in the condition has not changed. I do use this method for another folder inside this folder and have never experienced this issue.
  20. 930 PGM files now. Was 1288 before deleting the irrigation programs. Thanks again!
  21. I finally had to quit using the ISY altogether for locks. I now use Smartthings to control them and Webcore to send ST lock status to the ISY so the ISY can announce status through my Elk M1 and update my widgets on my phone. I have the ISY use IFTTT to send lock and unlock commands to ST since I have not gotten the rest interface working for ISY to ST communications yet. Not optimal but works way better than the ISY natively. Mine are Kwikset though.
  22. Thanks Larry! I could not get the second zip file to show anything in it but I used the first method. With folders and programs I counted 53 per page and 22 pages. Plus 30 more on the last page. That's 1196 after deleting all my irrigation programs yesterday (I bought a Rachio last summer). I did see in another thread that Chris Jahn had stated they doubled the amount of programs you could have a while back. Sounds like once you hit the limit (which is really memory) it will not allow new ones to be created. Right now the SM command in the serial interface shows I have more free than used. 410 used, 624 free. Guess I will just work with Michel on the ticket I submitted. Thanks to all!
  23. Well, I guess I was counting programs from Topology and I just realized that is not programs at all. Anyone know an easy way to count them?
  24. I have deleted enough to get below 1024, will give it a shot. Thanks!
  25. No, I do not have any devices waiting for an update to be written. Thanks Bumbershoot
