  1. I have no experience with these Inovelli bulbs but I use several Inovelli switches. The company is innovative, pushing Zwave to new frontiers (such as switches that don't need Neutral...). However, in my experience Inovelli devices (switches in my case) need more replacement than for instance GE/Jasco switches. Furthermore, and this is something liyoyo1 keeps pointing out, there is no uniformity in how to include/exclude Zwave devices and Inovelli's method is quite different from other brands. All this being said, I give Inovelli credit for their innovation and will keep using their products.
  2. So true. I have the Google Wifi router which allows me to connect my ISY to one of the router pods, but once ISY moves to Polisy, it will even be easier to include locks and switches that are at a distance.
  3. The Polisy Pro is out and I received mine a few days ago. There could be a waiting list for new orders, but get your order in.
  4. I am not a geek and at first the concept of Raspberry Pi, Polyglot and nodeservers was way beyond my level of technical competence. But then a few on this forum (Bumbershoot, Simplextech, Mwareman, FirstOne, Jimbo, Lilyoyo1, larrylix, and several others that I don't remember right now) guided me along and I was able to install Polyglot on a Raspberry Pi. What the nodeservers do is allow to integrate other technologies into your ISY. As an example, I use the nodeservers AVRemote and Harmony Hub in my ISY wake-up programs to first stream music and then turn on the TV at the selected channel. I also use the nodeserver Google Holidays to disable my wake-up programs when there is a whole day event in one of my Google Calendars. AVRemote also allows me to stream selected radio stations, at specific times, to my various Chromecast devices. There are numerous nodeservers that integrate numerous technologies and devices. The most cool may be the one integrating your Tesla in your ISY, but unfortunately I don't have a Tesla.? If you are as non-geek as me, it may be overwhelming in the beginning but, as mentioned, many in this forum will be happy to guide you. Polisy is a new box from UDI that replaces the need for a Raspberry Pi and that is built for the future. Supposedly, some time in the future, it will replace the need for a separate ISY box. The Polisy makes the integration of nodeservers much easier and the same for nodeserver updates. As they say, you will not understand the usefulness of the Polisy and nodeservers until you have them, and then wonder why you waited so long.
  5. Thanks but I am sure about that.
  6. I have no PLM as I no longer have any Insteon devices.
  7. A day after successfully installing Polisy, I noticed that my Google Home and Alexa Spokens have disappeared. When clicking on either Google Home or Alexa in ISY Portal Connectivity, there are no spokens. However, I tried a few Google Home Spokens and they still work. I don't know whether this is related to the installation of Polisy or not. Right now, if I wanted to change any of my Spokens, I would not know where to find them. Has anyone observed anything similar ?
  8. Many thanks Bumbershoot. Over the weekend I will try the exclude/include, but as you say when the device works, don't touch it. This being said lately I have had problems with including new devices, first an Inovelli switch and yesterday a GE Motion Sensor. I just tried again to include the motion sensor and get this in the event log : Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:22 PM : Listening for Z-Wave devices to add to the network Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:36 PM : Z-Wave device detected, retrieving info 2 Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:36 PM : Z-Wave device detected, retrieving info 3 Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:36 PM : Z-Wave device detected, retrieving info 5 Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:37 PM : Adding Z-Wave devices stopped Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:38 PM : Device 96 of type 4.7.1 included into Z-Wave network Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:38 PM : [ZWAVE-ADD-NODE] Cannot add primary node for 96.0 Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:38 PM : [ZWAVE-ADD-NODE] Device 96.0 not added Thu 12/26/2019 01:28:38 PM : Add Node failed: Cannot create primary node for new device I have seen the same pattern with the Inovelli switch, so I start to suspect that something needs to be tweaked in my ISY
  9. This is in my error log : Wed 2019/12/25 12:07:55 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:08 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:08 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:10 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:10 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:20 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:20 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:22 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:21:22 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:22:35 PM System -251001 RX-U 01040160019B Wed 2019/12/25 01:25:19 PM System -251001 RX-U 01040160019B Wed 2019/12/25 01:44:52 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:44:52 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:44:54 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:44:54 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:45:01 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:45:01 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:45:03 PM System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 01:45:03 PM System -110012 /CONF/0020.CZW Wed 2019/12/25 04:11:07 PM System -100 [DHCP] state=RENEW Am I right to assume that the error System -110022 /CONF/0020.CZW refers to my Zwave device 020 ? I'd like to be sure before removing and replacing this device, which is in a rather difficult to reach spot. Anyone has an idea what the following mean : Wed 2019/12/25 01:22:35 PM System -251001 RX-U 01040160019B Wed 2019/12/25 01:25:19 PM System -251001 RX-U 01040160019B Wed 2019/12/25 04:11:07 PM System -100 [DHCP] state=RENEW Thanks for any guidance !!!!!
  10. Naughty simplextech...... I knew someone would ask I have my reasons ?
  11. I would like to wish you all Happy Holidays and a Happy, Healthy, Safe & Prosperous New Year. I am thankful to UDI Support and to You All for your help and guidance. It is greatly appreciated.
  12. I am happy to report that my ISY is working again. I have a mystery however that I really can not explain : I have a Group for one of my balconies (Balcony South) that includes 5 nodes. Two of these nodes are on an outdoor plug with 2 separate Zwave nodes. These 2 nodes appear in the right "current state" window of my Administrative Console. One of these 2 nodes is part of a program that runs as always. However these 2 nodes have disappeared from the left "Network" window in the Administrative Console. I have checked that these have not moved to elsewhere in this list and anyway, in such case, they would not appear where they are now in the right "current state" window. I have tried to remove the device with the intent to include it again, but it does not let me. Normally I can double click on any device in the "current state" window and then control it, but now double click does nothing with these two nodes. I have never seen nodes in the right window that do not appear in the left window. I have ordered a new switch, but before disposing of this not properly working switch I would like to see if it can be saved from extinction.
  13. I reinstalled Mobilinc X........ and so far, so good
  14. Michel took remote control and went through my network settings. He went very fast and I'm not sure that I grasped everything. I do know that the resolution included reinstallation of 5.0.16. I use ISY Portal and only considered Mobilinc X once it was to work with ISY Portal. I may try tomorrow but today I want to enjoy having ISY back on.
  15. I am greatly appreciative for Michel taking time on Sunday to resolve my issue. It looked quite complicated and it included re-installing the firmware. Now it all works again. Thank you so much Michel. I already reinstalled the Harmony Hub NS. Should I also reinstall Mobilinc X ?
  16. Yes I will wait for UDI. I can not think of any change I could have made to my ISY settings before issue erupted, with installation of Mobilinc X being the only exception. I also had updated the Harmony Hub Nodeserber. I deleted both Mobilinc X and the Harmony NS, but IF these were the cause, then deleting them did not resolve it. It is amazing how much I have come to rely on ISY.
  17. I changed back to original setting of http (8070). In desperation of my ISY not working properly I wanted to try everything that I could think of but I realized that https did not resolve anything, so changed back. I have sent error log and more details in latest ticket.
  18. Thanks Bumbershoot. It is late now but I will do this all tomorrow. Thanks
  19. IP address of ISY did not change, and I never changed anything (such as static IP) to the ISY settings as they come.
  20. Yes I tried that as well.
  21. The ISY has neither an open port or a DHCP Reservation. I double checked. The AC never works but sometimes I can open it and see all my devices listed on the left. The right window is either totally empty or just lists the same devices but without current state. When clicking on any device, the right window is empty with just the name/address of the device as a title on top. When I click on the Programs tab it is empty. The Configuration tab appears as normal, with the comment that ISY Portal shows (as mentioned) Registered and Offline.
  22. I have had multiple exchanges with UDI, but because my ISY "appears" offline they can not monitor directly by giving them the UUID. I just sent them an update of all things I tried and gave them detailed status. I also sent them the error log. The weirdest thing is that my existing programs run normally but I can not access them. This will be a problem on Monday when one of these programs is set to wake us up much earlier than what we want (lights and curtains). My wife won't be happy or maybe tomorrow night I unplug the iSY.
  23. I listened to you and returned Polyglot to original http. ISY Portal still showing Registered and Offline in AC Configuration / Portals.
