Bumbershoot, I notice that my isy Data node runs at London time, 5 hours ahead from the time that my Administrative Console runs here in Miami. Is that normal ?
-
I just sent him enough for a couple of Heinekens (from my country of birth)

Bumbershoot, Many, many thanks ! I got it to work and added a few Nodes (CallerID, Additional ISY Data, Location) to my ISY and now I have to figure out what I can do with these. I will probably find some info somewhere in the ISY forum. Thanks again.

That helped but ........ 2019-01-22 23:58:54 - ISY NodeLink Server v0.9.27 started 2019-01-22 23:58:54 - OS: Linux raspberrypi 4.14.79-v7+ #1159 SMP Sun Nov 4 17:50:20 GMT 2018 armv7l GNU/Linux 2019-01-22 23:58:54 - Mono version: 5.18.0.240 (tarball Wed Jan 16 09:28:29 UTC 2019) 2019-01-22 23:58:54 - Web config server started (http://192.168.86.46:8090) 2019-01-22 23:58:55 - ISY resolved to 192.168.86.48 (5.0.14) 2019-01-22 23:58:55 - ISY Error: Profile (isylink) not setup in ISY, please follow howto 2019-01-22 23:58:55 - Unable to determine ISY Node Server profile number 2019-01-22 23:58:59 - ISY Warning: Duplicate node names exist on the ISY (ZW 058 MBR Not operative node) 2019-01-22 23:58:59 - ISY Warning: Duplicate node names exist on the ISY (ZW 122 Laundry Not operative ) How do I set up isylink ?

Major progress..... I have access to Nodelink in my browser but it keeps telling me that I have the wrong ISY credentials. I have tried both with username/password for Administrative Console and those for ISY Portal. And each time I have restarted Nodelink to activate changes. I have also restarted the RPi but no luck with credentials. I have also done the ps aux|greb Nodelink that you suggested
-
I rebooted the RPi ("sudo reboot") but still same error message
-
I have tried several times, exactly as you suggest. I have Polyglot working and open at http://192.168.86.46:3000 and tried Nodelink with http://192.168.86.46:8090 but every time I get error message that 192.168.86.46 refuses connection. I even tried with firewall de-activated but no luck either.
-
I think that I made progress, but no luck with http://$hostip:$hostport" echo . I assume that use the IP of my RPi but I have tried with both port 22 and 3000. Is there a space between the IP address and echo ? Do UI actually enter this command http://$hostip:$hostport" echo in the RPi terminal or on my PC ?
-
Thanks !!! I actually had changed it already and wrote it down. I m in
-
Yes that did it. Sorry to be so ignorant.... Now the terminal shows "login as" ... what should I enter ?

Thanks TJF960, what is the best way to backup the sd card ?
-
pls remind me how to get to terminal screen ? My Polyglot works with perfection. Is there any risk to impact Polyglot when adding Nodelink ?
-
I have a RPi running Polyglot. It took quite some effort (and lots of help from Beninsteon and others) to get this far. How exactly do I add " sudo curl -sSL http://automationshack.com/Files/install.sh | bash " ?

One way or another power will go through the different inputs of the Nano, so why not try the alternative possibilities ? I have been reading about these non-neutral devices. I have one switch in my home where it is practically impossible to get neutral and I would love to use that device, but I wonder how it works without neutral.
-
Thanks for posting this. We already have Google Home to ISY, e.g. asking Google to switch on/off lights etc, but hopefully this development will extend our possibilities. As an example, it would be nice if ISY could act on specific entries in my Google calendar.

I use both Windows 10 and a Mac computers. My Mac is Mojave and I have no problems opening the Administrative Console with the new ISY Launcher. As you probably have already tried to launch ISY with Firewall/Virus program OFF, I have unfortunately no idea what your issue might be.
-
I respectfully disagree. While still far from perfection, I make good use of GH with my ISY. I frequently use GH commands to turn on lights when I have my hands fulls (or just lazy..) and especially the routine (shortcut) 'Open Curtains X' is being used all the time. Unfortunately as mentioned yesterday, my wife is confused about GH and believes that the right command is OK "my name" Open Curtains.......
-
I have had the same issue, and since then I synch through Google : "OK Google synch my devices". GH will then respond by saying that it is synching with Universal Devices (and other products such as Nest, Samsung appliances, etc).
-
I believe that 'bedroom' for a device may not work. Room names may be reserved in Google Home. Try something like 'master celing'
-
Have you tried changing the spoken ? I have had cases where GH did not "like" my chosen spokens. As an example I now have spokens such as "master bedroom ceiling light", master bedroom center light", et c etc.
-
Have you tried deleting the GH App, rebooting your phone, and re-install the GH App ?
-
I have commented before that my 2 Mimolites do not report status and do not respond to query. However they do properly react to ISY instructions (ON / OFF) whether directly or through programs. I wonder whether the wiring is wrong even though they work (except status reporting and query) . I have included copy of 3rd level event log. Any suggestion is welcome, Thanks ISY-Events-Log.v5.0.14__Wed 2018.12.12 01.38.20 PM.txt

If you see both minis on the same page in your App, then you used the same account.
