Are there three or four devices involved and are they currently in an ISY Scene that links the devices (3 or 4) together? If ( Control 'Main Hallway Master' is switched On Or Control 'Main Hallway Upstairs 1' is switched On Or Control 'Main Hallway Upstairs 2' is switched On ) And From 9:00:00PM To 6:00:00AM (next day) Then Set 'Main Hallway Upstairs Master' 30% Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Also this Program needs some parens as the first two devices are not gated by the From/To time. This Program cannot provide the function you want (ramp to 30% without 100% first). Need to know how many devices are involved and are they currently in an ISY Scene.

Define Scenexxxx with SwitchLinc as a Controller This program sets the Local On Level to 30% at 9PM and turns SwitchLinc On (optional) At 6AM next day the Local On Level is set to 100% and turns SwitchLinc Off (optional) If From 9:00:00PM To 6:00:00AM (next day) Then In Scene 'SwitchLinc Dimmer DB' Set 'SwitchLinc Dimmer DB' 30% (On Level) Set Scene 'Scenexxxx' On Else In Scene 'SwitchLinc Dimmer DB' Set 'SwitchLinc Dimmer DB' 100% (On Level) Set Scene 'Scenexxxx' Off

The EZServ is not a supported device. However, the posted trace does not look correct even for an EZServ. Was the PLM factory reset? If so a File | Restore Modem (PLM) is required. Has the ISY firmware been updated to 4.2.18 which is the latest Official release.
-
"So essentially the two-wire switch leaks just enough power through the circuit to power itself, but not to light an incandescent bulb?" Yes. It operates on RF only so very little power is required.
-
The ISY uses command 0x6A to pull current temp from 2441TH and 2491T. That command is not sent to 2441ZTH when doing Query. I sent a 0x6A to my 2441ZTH with no temp returned. I take from that the 2441ZTH does not support Query of temp.

The motion sensor is NOT providing what the I/O Linc requires. The I/O Linc is expecting it's GND connection to be connected to it's Sensor connection through a dry contact switch to turn the I/O Linc Sensor On. It is not designed to operate from a voltage from another device. Refer to the I/O Linc User Guide for proper connection to I/O Linc Sensor. • Ground – Used with Sense terminal for detecting sensor status • Sense – Used with Ground terminal for detecting sensor status
-
Is the hardwired motion sensor controlling a Dry contact switch that is connected to the I/O Linc Sensor?

Device 22.0D.10 is not responding to first command. There is other device activity in the trace but no 02 50 .... response to the three attempts to query Insteon Engine. Might not be in linking mode or not in range of Dual Band device or wrong Insteon address. Set the motion sensor options to ... Sensing mode: checked On Only mode: unchecked Night mode: checked With these options the motion sensor sends On commands only and at every motion detected. Your posted Program will work with these options.

I don't think the Hidden Door Sensor On/Off status can be reversed. The I/O Linc Sensor On/Off status is based on the type of magnetic switch being used. The garage kit comes with a switch that is closed when next to magnet (door closed). It used to come with a magnetic switch SECO-LARM SM-226L-3 that could be used in either NO or NC and it is a wide gap switch which is helpful with garage door. The solution is to use a different magnetic switch, one that is Open when the door is closed. Trigger Reverse can have issues with 3AM Query. Better to change magnetic switch.

The I/O Linc is powerline only (no RF) so good powerline communication is required. The Query of the Insteon Engine is the first command issued so it sounds like powerline comm to the I/O Linc location is poor. Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3. Factory Reset the I/O Linc and use New INSTEON Device. Post the event trace. Be sure the 120v coupling is working as well.

UDI has the "Upgrade" offer. Having paid Smarthome already I think you will have to return the 994i to Smarthome and purchase Upgrade from UDI. Question #2 does not apply as the Dual Band KPL cannot be added to the 99i. Once on a 994i running 4.2.18 (latest Official release) it depends on the old KPL configuration. If in 6 button mode the new Dual Band 6 button should Replace the old KPL. Apply the Replace with ..... function against the old KPL. If in 8 button mode a 6 button KPL (old or new) cannot replace an 8 button KPL.

Setting Init value is what the variable is set to when the ISY is booted. Set the variable itself "Set $VAR_1 = 1" in addition to setting the Init value. Then $VAR_1 Init To 1 $VAR_1 = 1 Then $VAR_1 Init To 0 $VAR_1 = 0

The 99i is both Discontinued and past End of Life. No updates for 99i. I think the KPL type change by SmartLabs was the first of many devices the 99i does not support. The 2334-232 6 button Dual Band KPL will not add to the 99i. As noted by Teken there is an upgrade option to migrate to a 994i.

To have the maximum Motion Sensor activity use Sensing mode: checked On Only mode: unchecked Night mode: checked This will have the Motion Sensor send an On command as each motion is detected, not waiting for any Timeout to expire. All night time gating, how long to keep the lights On, etc will be controlled by the Program(s). If Control 'motionsensor-sensor' is switched On And From Sunset To Sunrise (next day) Then Set 'switchlinc' On Wait 10 minutes Set 'switchlinc Off Else Set 'switchlinc Off The SwitchLinc turns On with every motion sensed. The Program Waits for fresh 10 minutes on each motion sensed. The SwitchLinc turns Off after no motion sensed for 10 minutes. This is a starting point. Once how this works is viewed in real time changes are often called for. Remember the Motion Sensor has to be put into manual linking mode to set/change options. You may find that project work does not generate enough physical motion. The SwitchLinc may need to be operated manually and have that manual SwitchLinc On disable this Program.

Does the Then not trigger at Sunset and Else trigger at Sunrise? If From Sunset To Sunrise (next day) Then
-
Check that the Sunrise does not say (same day). It should be set to (next day). Post the actual Program (right click on Program name and select last option Copy to Clipboard). Paste into forum post. Wrong If From Sunset To Sunrise (same day) Right If From Sunset To Sunrise (next day) Then

You're welcome. Thanks for posting back as the examples may help someone in the future.

The leading 0 in the Insteon address is likely the problem http://admin:admin@1...0/rest/nodes/1 DD E5 1/cmd/DON I tested the two examples before posting.

Without powering down ISY I don't think simply plugging in a different PLM will force all devices to be rebuilt with new PLM address.
-
DO NOT use the Buttons Grouping function. Buttons Grouping is there from the "old days". Use Scenes as Stu has indicated.

Was the ISY and old PLM powered down, new(er) PLM connected and powered up followed by powering up ISY. Then doing a Restore Modem (PLM). Is the replacement PLM a 2412 or 2413? Are the devices with the Red ! battery powered?
