Weirdest thing... Works perfect for when we are going to bed but some mornings I would wake up at 3 or 4 and notice the keypad is bright. I assumed that it lost the status and reverted back to "else" but this morning "H" was not on (Meaning door status is locked) but some other keys were lit for fan speed. I am guessing it happens when the ISY is query all at 3am. All it takes is me getting up and manually unlocking and locking the door to dim the keypad again

All, I have been trying with no luck to add the Gen 6 siren to my ISY. I have a schlage lock and Aeotec Range extender 7 that works just fine. I have tried including and excluding. doing it by the ISY or away etc. but nothing seems to work. Searching the forums you see the issue pop up once in a blue moon but they mostly resolve themselves. Thanks not sure how I missed that one! Also I always thought people like continuing threads with similar/same problems. I dont want to come off as always needing to create new threads like I did not put the time into searching, but will keep it in mind. I have other Z-wave devices that functions just fine, but below is the info.

Great thanks. I do like your idea of instead of sunset to trigger use the status for lock to trigger the dimming. I can see that would work. There might be a couple times that when I come home late and the wife is sleeping that when I unlock the door the keypad will brighten back up until I lock it, but at this point might be the best option. Thanks!

OK finally got a Schlage lock installed. I would like for it to turn on a keypad light "H" in the master bedroom if unlocked, as well as locking the door if button H is pushed. I have it working mostly but ran into a snag. My wife hates the glow of the switch lights so I have a program that turns the LED brightness down at night. So at night you cant see if the door is lock or not. I have tried to adjust the scene and or programming backlight but does not seem to work. Basics: I have a scene (Backdoor Lock) with the lock as responder and keypad H as controller Another scene (BackDoor Lock Light) with Keypad H as responder From searching it looks like you can adjust the keypad backlight only as one unit not individual lights? Is that correct? Current dimming program:

OK so I have been searching but dont seem to find what I am looking for. SO for years I have had the wireless tags by themselves working great! Well I have been getting a notifications my batteries are dying and havent had a chance to replace one of them in my freezers....the freezer by kids store their popsicles in. So of course they left the door open a sliver and thawed everything. My wife blames me since I did not switch the batteries out! Well I would like to tie the tags in with Alexa. I have tried my Polisy but cannot get all my tags to show in AC. I have installed the Skill in Alexa but cannot see the tags listed as a smart device so I cannot trigger anything. I can ask the status but that is it. I would like it announce if the temp is outside the limits, door is open to long, or battery is dead, that way my wife will be in the loop as well and cant use me as the scape goat. Are there an EASY way to accomplish this? Thanks

Great thanks everyone that was the issue. The pro upgrade fixed it all.

Trying to add a couple more devices but get an error cannot add device reason 1 . Cannot remember what the number was but for some reason 256 nodes stick in my head. Would I just need to update my ISY994i ZW+ to the Pro version module?

Sorry to resurrect this thread but does anyone know what the default for backlight is for both keypads and switches? I would like to do what MrBill suggested running 2 programs one at sunset and one at sunrise. But not sure what to "reset" the leds back to with sunrise as the led backlight shows 0

Sure this is easy but cannot seem to find the answer but then again not sure how to phrase it. I have my ecobee integrated with polisy. I have a scene with all my ceiling fans motors (low speed) if the house is above a certain set point the scene runs, which turns the fans on low. That parts works great my issue is the corresponding keypad controller for each fan does not turn on so they are out of sync... So should I put the keypad keys in the scene as responders instead of the fan controls? Or is there a better option?

Any update on this App? I need remote control and trying to decide if I should wait or go with Agave. Thanks

More than I ever expected Michel working on weekends! That is why I love this company! And with his help we figured out I just cannot use putty and was able to update to the new OS and is working. THanks again.

Good evening! First I am pretty new to the Polisy world and have a ticket with Michel and they are helping but with the weekend I am not expecting anything, figured maybe you guys can help. We are pretty sure the polisy cannot access the internet... we have done OS updates. I can log into the Polisy with my laptop being on wireless so I know it is on my network I can even see the Node store and try to download nodes and get the above errror. I have both the ISY and Polisy on reserved IP's using their MAC. Not sure what to do...

Why havent I thought of that! I have one laying around that I can use. What size label do you use and do you have an easy way to place the label correctly(Square and center)?
