ISY994 5.4.1 and Zwave Plus LR
Opps...Looks like I messed up! I have 5.4.3 (not 5.4.1), sorry fingers don't always work right. Also have the 500 dongle. I bought a HomeSeer Door/Window Switch, DS100 that is Z-Wave Plus LR in hopes of being compatible. It adds fine but operation is weird. After being closed for over 10 seconds it misses the first open. Then works fine until until sitting closed for over 10 seconds , again. By the way when it misses an open the red indicator does not blink. If I uninstall it from the ISY, the red light always blinks for all open and closed. Thanks all.

ISY994 5.4.1 and Zwave Plus LR
Good morning all! I have an ISY994 using 5.4.1 software. I am trying to add a HomeSeer Door/Window Sensor DS100 that is a Zwave Plus LR device. The HomeSeer adds to the ISY and works but has a glitch: after sitting for over 10 seconds in the closed position it misses the nest open. I was under the impression that 5.4.1 was totally Zwave compatible as a Zwave Plus. I also read on the Zwave organization site that Plus LR is backwards compatible with Plus. Has anyone experienced compatibility issues that may shed some light on this or possibly I misunderstood what I read. Thanks very much.

[RESOLVED] HTTP error 500 at login
I agree. After a lifetime of hardware and software design I have found coincidences sometimes coinside. We'll never know.

[RESOLVED] HTTP error 500 at login
I find it interesting about the AWS server. Just so happens that my three Echo Shows updated about 2hours before the portal failure.

Never rely on the internet for your home controls. My Alexa is down too and I miss it, but I have a backup program on my phone using rest commands over my home LAN. Hope it is back up soon, my wife can't live without Alexa.

ISY 994 Abandoned for Polisy?
I don't either. I have some on doors but I use some with push buttons attached, garage door motor run, where ever I need a contact input.

ISY 994 Abandoned for Polisy?
It is a big deal for those that can't afford to keep throwing C Notes at hardware upgrades. I don't want to have to learn about "another system" every couple of years no matter how backward compatible it is.

ISY 994 Abandoned for Polisy?
I have found that the Homeseer window/door sensors are much more reliable and easier on batteries than the Aeotec. I do have an Aeotec in my mailbox that has been working for years. It use to eat batteries so I modified it to use D batteries. Neither display the battery reliably on the ISY. I think this has something to do with waking up, etc.

ISY 994 Abandoned for Polisy?
I am sorry to hear about these issues, they concern me. Not being able to maintain your own hardware/software configuration is very costly when you have to go back to the drawing board.

Network Resources delay?
Hello. Currently I have an Freetronics Ether Ten (Arduino look alike) with a DF Mini MP3 player. The ISY sends an HTTP POST message to the device telling it which message to play. The MP3's sound messages are located on a 32gb TF card. My software is nothing more than a modified web server. The DF Mini handles all the sound. In designing this device my goal was to voice annunciate my doors, gates and motions without Alexa or the internet. In testing, using Wire Shark, I found that my HTTP POST messages were always instantly sent from the ISY upon the instance being set. Not having the internet or a lot of software/sound processing generates a sound message in less than a couple of seconds. Best of luck...

MIMOlite and MIMO2+
@kevindavis544 I am using 5.3.4 with two MIMOlites. However, the ISY has never operated properly with the MIMO 2+.

Fortrezz MIMO2+ support
I know this is an old question/problem and probably been asked many times: Has the ISY been fixed so that it works with the Fortrezz MIMO2+????

ISY Discontinued?
Hope all is good as I am getting ready to order another ISY for my fishing camp. Thanks all.

ISY Discontinued?
Thanks MrBill. I checked that too. Hoping a company rep would calm the nerves. You know you read all kinds of nonsence on the internet. Thanks..

ISY Discontinued?
So I have one serious question: Is the ISY994 still a product being activly sold by Universal Devices?

Schlage 469 Locks, Aeotec Gen5, 6 repeaters Z-Wave issues
@io_guy and all, thanks for the posts. I too had a similar experience with 500 series and a new Sledge. I didn't want to deal with it and my long time working ISY so I returned the lock. Best of luck.

Schlage 469 Locks, Aeotec Gen5, 6 repeaters Z-Wave issues
@wingman1487Thanks for the post. Several times over the last year I have almost pushed the buy button for a Schlage. I certainly am not looking to waste a lot of time calling vendors. Thanks for the reminder. Does UDI have any thoughts?

Contact Closure Device
Don't know about Insteon but a Mimo device would work for ZWave. Best of luck.

Schlage BE469 lock update
@wdhille Thanks very much for keeping us updated on your "expedition". For the longest time I have wanted to incorporate smart locks. Not wanting the cloud or headaches like you I have avoided it. As a side note, I have tried several different extenders. Even though they are ZWave certified compatible, they do not all perform the same. Best of luck..

Identical switch devices showing up differently in ISY
I have three Aeotec window/door sensors, bought same time, stamped same rev, same date and each one shows up different. Started when switched to 5. They work as simple contact sensors so let it be. I am over it. Best of luck.

Micro module sense + photocell, will this work w/o being too hacky?
I use an Aeotec Door/Window sensor to detect a specific light level. I removed the internal magnetic switch and put my circuit in place. I used a resistive photo device and a couple of transistors to adjust for a specific light level. Best of luck.
