So here is what i have so far from what you've said: Program A IF THEN ELSE Program B IF (none) THEN ELSE 2 new pieces of information, so: Program A IF Time is 1:11:11 AM THEN ELSE Program B IF (none) THEN Run Program A ELSE So really no clue what you're trying to do? the answer might be Disable Program A (disabled programs still run when run manually or are run by another program). --or-- the answer might be to combine all this into one program? --or-- maybe you want A to run that the Specific Time, so leave it enabled but have Program B run the THEN block of program A instead of the IF block. --or-- there might be a better way entirely... please post the programs by right clicking their names, Selecting the last item COPY TO CLIPBOARD and then pasting it into a forum message.

either the isy has a different IP address? (what happens when trying http://192.168.0.210 ?) Or you are on a different logical network or VLAN? or your browser is blocking .jnlp (although here I would expect it to tell you that it's doing that). Where are you getting 192.168.0.210? Why do you think that's the ISY's IP address?

I'm running win11 and no issues with Version 8 update 361. Is there firewall?

Are you using java 8 from https://www.java.com or something else? Hint: Java 8 is what you want... numbers following the word java don't mean bigger is better.

Please update to v5.6.0 and then retest. Among other specifics about the release:

It should offer a file to "download". Polisy and eisy will need a port number, but your first post says your using a 994, is the IP correct? Unless you need the jdk don't install it.... use: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp or just navigate to www.java.com and it should detect which version is best for you.

I wouldn't be able to either. Although I'm happy to report that I only have one filterlinc in use. Well over 100 Insteon devices (I don't even know how many anymore). -
Ok, got it!

you should likely not try to use the launcher, it was developed with windows users in the crosshairs... some Mac users report they can use it, others never get it to work. Instead use http://ip.of.the.ISY/admin.jnlp Save the file and use it to open the admin console. This file is firmware dependent... it must be replaced anytime the firmware version is changed. Also officially the admin console was created for Java 8, changes to make it fire in openjdk 11.0.18 can't be predicted.

not aimed at you... it's the signature on all my posts... sorry -
Mine is a Privacy Setting issue, but others could be impacted. I have two apps on each phone that should be set to "Always" under Privacy & Security > Location Services. All 4 had been changed to "When Using". I'm not sure why that change occurred, neither my wife or I remember seeing the annoying nag to set those away from "Always". What changed those settings? an update perhaps? @Javi

Comcast dropouts have nothing to do with this. I still haven't been able to prove its apple's fault tho. One failure yesterday, but it was my wife's phone and I wasn't with her to look at her phone at confirm that Locative hadn't fired.

Email to text fails miserably. AT&T and Verizon have not worked in awhile. Likely too many users reported the default sender, or some other anti-spam test is failing. Move away from email to SMS. 1) I installed spark mail just so the ISY had is own email client on my phone. 2) I’ve also used Pushover with and without the notification nodeserver. 3) other option is using UD Mobile to send Push notifications. all of these are faster and more reliable than email to SMS.

the new insteon has PLM's in stock now, both serial and USB. Serial is required for 994, USB is the better choice for Polisy/eisy. https://shop.insteon.com/collections/interfaces

Have you tried Factory Resetting the Fanlinc? -
The first thing to always check is Help > About to see if your Firmware and UI versions match. This is the most maddening statement people in forums across the world make. What's the latest firmware? Some seem to think that means 5.3.0 which was the only revision of V5 to have the words "official release" attached. In reality 5.3.4 is the latest firmware... Unless there's a 300 series z-wave board involved then it's 5.0.16C. It also doesn't help anyone that lands on this post later, trying to diagnose there own problem because they must know what "latest firmware" is on the date of original posting. Did you check the box to include "installed applications and Applets"? What are you relaunching exactly? If it's the Launcher Icon on your desktop, then you didn't included "installed applications and applets" when you cleared. The best think to do is download a fresh copy of the launcher, and reinstall it. What does that mean? That nothing happaned? you saw nothing on the screen? if so you might need to delete your .state files. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Admin_Console_Minimized/Invisible_and_Cannot_be_Restored

Just a note: I'm experiencing geo-fence issues with missed crossings using another app (Locative) on iOS16.4.1. I hope Apple has not introduced a new geofence failure in iOS 16.4.1 . I've only had a few failures that I haven't been able to diagnose, so far it missed me leaving twice, my wife leaving once, and yesterday it missed me returning. Locative has not updated in 8 months, and this was not happening before iOS 16.4.1.
-
it is still available, and I still use it.
-
It was never "required". I use it for Locative/geofence.
-
For better help you should mention what it is you're trying to add. and what specifically happens when it fails. Your two line post above doesn't have enough information. Also I don't own the device, so I haven't been following, but has UD enabled Matter portion yet? originally it was shipping as "z-wave for now, update to follow".

Always remember never to depend on secondary systems to be there in an actual emergency. I used to receive a Security and Alarm trade publication, the most interesting column was always the legal corner where they would discuss lawsuits and the failures that led to the lawsuit. Too often the cause is something like "After the original design and installation, the owner disconnected the horns and connected an XYZ annunciation device without realizing the power supply for that device was not backed up, nor was the device listed for that use." The above problem only gets worse with Home Automation... ever written an ISY program and then it preformed other than expected and you dig into to troubleshoot why? Only to later say..."Oh I didn't think of that set of conditions", or "I didn't think about what would happen after a restart". Don't expect anything other than Approved Life Safety Devices to work in an actual emergency. If you need interconnected alarms then install them, they are available.

Volume control with network resources and other controls

Your REST calls to set variables should ideally be someplace else, like a spare pi, you have laying around. With Polisy and eisy you can, in theory, create another user and do whatever you want, but I'd prefer not to, since installed software may someday conflict with UD's needs. -
Generally UD's support dept is very responsive. They are fast and efficient. You pretty much get lifetime support, they only thing they ever charge for is custom programming, or extended 1 on 1 time where the average user should be able to handle it on their own. In this case tho they are going to tell you the same thing I did. Safe mode means that the last time the ISY was booted the ISY could not find the PLM. That typically means Port A isn't connected to the PLM, that could be because the cables aren't plugged into the correct jacks or the PLM wasn't booted up FIRST. However it could also mean, bad Cable, Bad PLM, or even bad ISY port. (The cable is an Ethernet cable with Ethernet ports, however it's deceiving.. it's NOT an Ethernet connection, it's serial). To summarize: It could be plugged in wrong it could be the PLM wasn't plugged in first, and then wait 30 seconds it could be a bad cable it could be a bad PLM (but it sounds like you've already replaced.) it could be a bad port on the ISY
-
Meant to comment on this too... you can set variables from outside the ISY using the ISY's REST API, you can also run Program directly from outside the ISY using the REST API. So your linix box could set a variable, and/or run a specific program or even a specific Then or Else body https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Developers:API:REST_Interface
