Release 5.2.0 (RC3) - OUTDATED
Correct, don't unzip the file. I try downloading the file again, and ensure that you are downloading the correct file. (there is a choice of 2, see the first post of this thread.)

LED Top Hats that dum nicely with Insteon dimmer
Click the Phillips Warm Glow link in my last post. You'll be pleasantly suprised at the variety, and it's what I use with Insteaon Dimmers.

LED Top Hats that dum nicely with Insteon dimmer
thanks. can lights, recessed can, recessed light, pot lights all familiar terms.... calling them top hats tho is new for us. @uffy bulb wise if you want to use an Insteon Dimmer I'd recommend "Phillips Warm Glow" they dim very incandescent like (getting warmer in color as they dim) and don't seem to flicker at low levels. I don't know of any recessed light with integrated bulbs that aren't cheap chinese junk, other than again Phillips, but this time Hue.

What is a top hat light? I'm not familiar with that term. My wife who owned a high end lighting store for many years doesn't know either.

SMS Gateways
Pushover does not send SMS. check out pushover, you can change sounds. and as previously mentioned you can override iOS do-not-disturb with a priority 2 message.

Does/Can Portal trigger program when there is no internet?
I believe the method in post 2 of this thread will detect either the local internet going offline, or the portal going offline. the "trick" is the ISY uses a network resource to post back to itself thru the portal. It's assumed the local internet is what we are looking for to be offline, but naturally if the portal instead failed the same thing would occur, a break in the clever loop created.

ISY994 Dashboard
you're running the admin console directly then, and not using the launcher. Please follow the instructions in the first post of this thread:

SMS Gateways
Beware that 2 days ago IFTTT introduced a subscription model. You only get 3 free applets now. I just use Pushover for all now (sort of, there's a complicated exception) and I do duplicate everything to a dedicated email address that uses a separate email app on my phone for redundancy. Another advantage of Pushover is Critical Alerts (iOS, but I think there is android version too that actually was available first) that can be configured to bypass Do Not Disturb hours set on the whole device.

SMS Gateways
use Pushover instead. it's much faster. From the ISY you can send emails to an address much like SMS, or create network resources, or use either of 2 nodeservers specific to pushover.

Missing nodeservers from polyglot store
as @Jimbo hints, the two nodeservers stores are entirely separate entities. They don't have the same list. Some work locally only, some are cloud only, and some do exist in both.

Does/Can Portal trigger program when there is no internet?
It can't. the original question was: I'm not sure why in the second post @bmercier uses the example of sending a notification because that clearly is not possible if the internet has gone offline.

Release 5.2.0 (RC3) - OUTDATED
How is this related to "Release 5.2.0 (RC3) is now available"? (don't answer it's a rhetorical question, answering would be further off-topic to this thread). Perhaps a better place to ask this question is the "Site Comments", section of the forum. Apologies for calling out this specific off-topic comment, but it purely amazes me how threads in the forum get pulled off-topic making specific information much harder to locate.

"A Schedule was met at" Keeps being sent
I would use the Find function to find programs associated with the device in questions. 1) on the Programs tab right click whatever your top level folder is called and select "Find Replace" 2) in the popup window Device should already be selected, select your device in the second dropdown: 3) Click the Find button to be taken to the FIRST program using that device. After reviewing that program, then click the FIND button again, to look for more programs that reference that device. Continue to Press FIND after reviewing each program until you have cycled thru and are back the the FIRST program that Find found. Alternatively you could search for something else, such as the specific notification. Personally I'd use Device, but there may be multiple search terms you could utilize to find other programs. I agree with @kclenden about the conditions that will trigger the program shown. However your notification seems to indicate a program was triggered at 11:03 PM. I suppose it's also possible that you have other programs that enable/disable or other RUN a program that generates the notification which may mean it's most effective to use @kclenden's method of searching using Raw Text, but keep in mind your text must be exact, including case, i.e. "Send Notification" and "send notification" are not the same thing, you will need to use "Send Notification" exactly as it appears in programs.

So many notification methods, which is best?
Different communications protocols.... the fastest being the pushover API. it's really all about how long it takes once it leaves the ISY over the various protocols.

So many notification methods, which is best?
my favorite example is my mailbox alert: I get the pushover version before I've even got the door fully open. It's very fast. Another thing I like about Pushover is I can define priority alerts that bypass Do Not Disturb hours on my phone (iOS, but i think android too).

So many notification methods, which is best?
Pushover always arrives ahead of SMS for me. Sometimes it almost the same, but then again sometimes its hours faster, which is a problem with the carriers gateway. In the end I'd call Pushover more reliable.

"A Schedule was met at" Keeps being sent
@bh56 i suspect a different program than the one you posted generated that notification. As @Michel Kohanim points out that program only sends when status changes off to on. Please check using the Find feature by right clicking 'My programs' to find all programs referencing that device.

Settings in ISY for RETRIES?!?!
Actually its the link spam in the signature. this forum has been hit with a bunch of attempted link spammers lately, sadly once they start they just keep coming.

PWR LED (blue) flashing SOLVED -- power supply
Truth spoken. My ISY was recently disconnected for 12-ish hours due to some remodeling we are doing. I actually planned to have it offline for several days, but after just a short time ran a temporary Ethernet cable across the floor so I could hook it back up. You really don't realize the real-life dependencies created until they don't work.

Release 5.2.0 (RC3) - OUTDATED
I'm not sure why UDI has chimed in here, but I think you've hit the nail on the head... V4.8 doesn't know what a series 500 dongle is, so it displays nothing. I'm only making an educated guess tho.... I haven't tried various configurations....

How do i use Wifi Plugs
I had the same experience. I needed to order 6- 2635's Insteon ON/OFF modules for my wife's new indoor greenhouse project. I had planned to order 2 5-packs from the Labor Day Sale at Smarthome, but when the Labor Day Sale arrived, that product was excluded. I thought 25% off was bad, but no way will I order that product for the full list prices of 49.95. I ordered 2 3 packs (3 for $21) of the Kasa plug from Amazon, they arrived Saturday morning. Had them working quickly. So instead of 474.50 (full price of 2, 5-packs) or about $355 for 25% off. I spent $42.... I guess time will tell, but even if I have to replace them all every year its still far less expensive.

Not Loaded - Out of Memory
These must match. Use the launcher instead of whatever method you're currently using. The new method, ISY Launcher makes it more or less fool-proof. See the first post of this thread:

Looking for module with no switch
https://www.smarthome.com/products/in-linelinc-relay-insteon-2475sdb-remote-control-in-line-on-off-switch-dual-band https://www.smarthome.com/products/in-linelinc-dimmer-insteon-2475da1-remote-control-in-line-dimmer-dual-band Those are probably what you were remembering. They are effectively a 2477 without the box mounting yolk, they even have to on/off button of a 2477, just no plastic faceplate. I would get a deep weatherproof box for the floodlight and mount the module in the weatherproof box outside, not in a junction box in the empty attic crawl space. Even better if you can do it, cut a switch into a closet or laundry room of the conditioned space of the house. Since you won't use it often and don't want people randomly turning it on/off mount it high on the wall near the ceiling. This comes in handy when you want to test-- access to the physical device is easy. I've added one in the laundry room near the ceiling and one in one of the bedroom closets also near the ceiling. You're absolutely correct the attic is no place for a module, and the back box behind the fixture is really not much better, and certainly alot harder to access.

FanLinc Shim Project
Good Idea and I understand the need and desire. It should be noted that it will not comply with the NEC as it introduces a flammable material between a junction box and fixture, it's also not a device listed for it's use. That said, I've violated the NEC in my own home a few places (mostly using temporary cords permanently installed and/or enclosed) so I'm not trying to sit in judgement and say it's wrong to do it, but for those wishing to do it, or those installing professionally, it should be noted that's it's not code compliant.

How to push new scenes in isy Admin Console to isy Portal
Scenes show up under Scenes in the Alexa app. However, to get her to discover them you say, "Alexa, Discover Devices"
