I want a program to run based upon an external event occurring and it being a certain time of day.

 

I have set up an integer variable which an external program modifies between 0 and 1

 

The program checks for the correct time period and the value of the variable and then has a then event if both are true

 

Is this the best way to do this or have I missed something?
