Hi all,

 

I have a question regarding a venstar 2491t7e with the humidty module added. It seems to work fine for 1-3 months, and then stops communicating. Pressing the linking (set) button ( under the cover in the middle lower section of the stat) immediately starts the communication again. I believe that the thermostat is still functioning ok when I can't communicate with it, (dehumidification mode) but it is difficult to know when it stops working with the ISY. I email venstar, and they had no suggestions.

 

I have three other 2491t1e's that work and communicate without error both remote and locally and have been reliable for more than 2 years.

 

Is there a command line that will emulate pressing the link (set) button?
