PurdueGuy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I am having issues getting to different posts. I am using the "View New Posts" in the upper right. One topic, such as: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=215 is supposed to have 25 posts. Sometimes, when I go to page 1, I see just 8 posts. Clicking on the "2" for page 2 results in the same page loading, but it says "Page 2 of 2" … but I see the same 6 posts, but not the latest 2 from this week. Other times, I get page 1 and page 2 are identical. It doesn't seem to matter if I am logged in, logged out, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. Yesterday, there were topics with 4 pages, but clicking anything other than page 1 resulted in an error. I can't locate the thread that was given me issues now. I realize this could be caused by spam posts getting deleted, and throwing off counts, but just wanted to post my experiences.
Brian H Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 There was a large Spam attack a few days ago. When the Spam messages got pruned out. It seems the new messages data must have been compromised. I have seen the same thing myself.
Xathros Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I was seeing the same thing yesterday. After reading everything of interest, I returned to the board index and clicked "Mark Forums Read" and now its all back to normal for me. -Xathros
