PalChgo Posted January 19, 2014 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Hi, I am using the Android version of Mobilinc Pro on my phone and it works really well. I have purchased a second ISY for my weekend getaway condo. So I have one ISY at my primary residence and this new one at the condo. What I can't seem to figure out is how to add a second profile in Mobilinc. When you go into Active Profile, under Selected Profile, it shows Default from the drop down box, I don't see anywhere in which to add a second Profile to add the settings specific to my second ISY. Any help would be appreciated. I also have an Ipad version so haven't tackled that yet to see if it differs or not but will be shortly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! MobiLinc supports a virtual unlimited number of ISY/SmartLinc controllers. For iOS devices, go to My Settings->Selected Profile. Tap the "+" button to add in another profile. For Android devices, go to My Settings. Perform a long press on the Selected Profile row and select "Create a new profile". Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions for you. PalChgo Posted February 11, 2014 Author Share Posted February 11, 2014 Hi Wes, thanks for the answer earlier. It worked out for me. I do however have a new problem and do not know if its related or not as I don't have a good handle on when this new problem started. I have tasker installed and I use it at the primary location to say "Time for Bed" and it shuts all the lights off. I don't use it that often so that's why I can't pinpoint a time when this stopped working. I went into tasker and got down to the mobilinc configuration for the individual command. It appears as if when I select "Scenes" or Devices there is nothing listed in the dropdown box. It shows the profile name the Event Type but the Scene is blank and remains blank even if I try changing to a device, program or scene. I tried deleting the second profile but that did not seem to help so I will be putting the second profile back in. Thanks! Steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
InsteonNut Posted February 11, 2014 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Hi Steve, Tasker gets it list from MobiLinc. MobiLinc provides device/scene info based on what it has for that profile. Open MobiLinc and please confirm that for the profile selected in Tasker, MobiLinc has a full set of devices/scenes/etc. Wes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PalChgo Posted February 12, 2014 Author Share Posted February 12, 2014 Hi Wes OK I think I see the problem. I setup tasker before I created the second profile a while back. While in tasker then mobilinc settings I had to switch to the second profile. From there I switched back to the original profile and then it brought up the scene pull down boxes with all my scenes. I had also deleted the second profile in mobilinc and then put it back in. Before I had put profile two back the drop down boxes would not work from tasker/mobilinc config settings.
