DNS lookups failing after Mobilinc Connect account expiry

I recently tried the Mobilinc Connect add-on, which I let expire after the 30 day trial. Since that point, my ISY99i can no longer do DNS updates, which is affecting time updates and email notifications. Please help.

Hi mlennox,

 

The first thing I recommend is to reboot your router!

 

Next:

1. If you have configured your ISY with a static IP address, please try 8.8.4.4 for DNS

2. If that does not work, please revert to DHCP

I've had static IP for years on the ISY no problems.. nothing has changed in that respect.

 

At any rate, after switching to DHCP and then back to static IP, things were working... but unfortunately they are no longer working again.

 

Not sure where to go next.

nothing has changed and i have several other static ip devices on the network working fine. the problem started when mobilinc account expired. how do i remove that module?
