Bxsteez Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Does anyone know if the Z-wave module is compatible with z-wave motion sensors?
Michel Kohanim Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Hi Bxsteez, Yes but in 4.1.3 to be out in couple of weeks. With kind regards, Michel

fbelg210 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I am new to ISY's. I have ADT Pulse with a front door keyed entry system (which is Z-wave). I saw that the isy has a Z-Wave module which I have installed. However, I think it need a Z-Wave Dongle. Which one should I get. I want to be able to have my ISY994 control the door lock. Is this possible? Frank

For the dongle, you need the "Z-Wave Assembly Kit" from UDI. Go here: http://www.universal-devices.com/sales/products/ and scroll down to accessories. -Xathros

They have other USB dongles. Can I use that instead? Or is this the only way. Frank
Xathros Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 The ISY does not support usb connected dongles. There is an expansion connector inside the ISY to accept the ZWave daughter board. -Xathros Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bxsteez Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 So it seems 4.1.3 never came out but 4.2.x did. Does it support Z-wave motion sensors? Is there a place I can find a list of supported Z-wave devices so I don't have to buy, try and return?
Michel Kohanim Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Hello Bxsteez, Unfortunately such list does not exist simply because ISY supports most high level command classes exceptions are: - Multi-Channel devices such as remote controls - Scenes Motion sensors should be supported. With kind regards, Michel
