Cannot link devices to ISY994i

I have an ISY994i/IR PRO (1110) installed with v4.1.2.

I recently bought the Garage Kit and a IRLINC Transmitter from Insteon but has not been able to link them to my system.

When I try to link them it does recognize the devices and start the linking process but eventually it fails informing be that it could NOT do the linking.

 

I have attached a "picture" from the event viewer (I can't save anything - including logfiles from the program the as the only storage place I have is "PluginProcess" )

The inability to save is a problem in itself and I'm looking forward to that issue being fixed. For now - if anyone can help determining what is causing the problem with linking.

(I have several devices already linked and I have successfully linked 2 door sensors with 4.1.2 installed)

I'll try your suggestion later today.

 

However - what about the Garagekit (IOLinc)?

 

I did find a post elsewhere suggestion that particular versions didn't work with 4.1.2 and as it turned out - I had another IOLinc in my storage that I've had for a while but never linked to ISY994i. I assume that it is an earlier version and it linked just fine.

Hi Robert,

 

We have never had any issues with IOLinc linking to ISY. The issue was with a firmware version whereby the status of the sensor could not be queried.
