Several trias and no succes I am getting error Upgrade failed: Invalid Lenght. Thanks for the help - Walter
Sub-Routine Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I think the McAfee firewall had this problem. Rand
wlodekd Posted August 9, 2008 Author Posted August 9, 2008 I have Kaspersky disabled and still problem exists. Also how to set automatic upgrade option? Thanks Walter
Sub-Routine Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I'm not sure what else to tell you about your error then. Automatic upgrade, AFAIK, is always on but Beta versions are not distributed this way. When 2.7 is available a notice will pop up when you open the administration console. Rand
Michel Kohanim Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Hello Walter, I do apologize for the inconvenience. You cannot simply disable kaspersky. You will find the instructions for configuring kaspersky here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=1162 Please do let us know if you are still experiencing the same issues. With kind regards, Michel I have Kaspersky disabled and still problem exists. Also how to set automatic upgrade option? Thanks Walter
wlodekd Posted August 11, 2008 Author Posted August 11, 2008 Hi Michel, I found this post regarding Kaspersky and follow the advice. Still I am not able to update firmware. Also I am not able to access admin console localy. In IE7 I am getting cross sign in the Java console area with the following errors: load: class com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class not found. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin.AppletViewer.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) I search other posts and I recall somenbody was reporting problem like this brfore. Michel Kohanim Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Hello Walter, I am so very sorry. You can access ISY through http://www.universal-devices.com/99i , right? If so, we would like to access it remotely and see if we can fix it over the internet: 1. Please try File->Enable Internet Access ... if this does not work, then 2. Please try http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=635 (your port is 443) Once you get the remote URL, please contact us (http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm) with your remote URL. If you have problems enabling internet access, please do give us a call and we'll walk you through it. With kind regards, Michel Hi Michel, I found this post regarding Kaspersky and follow the advice. Still I am not able to update firmware. Also I am not able to access admin console localy.
