It's 1:40 PM here and although it's cloudy and sprinkling the light % is showing as 8%.  That is way off.  I've noticed my light % being off a lot lately.  Anyone else noticing this?

 

Does the new module use light % to calculate ET?  Is the light % from my PWS's light sensor or from a chart/table of some sort?

Unless something has changed, light% is not used in the ET calculation. 

 

Daytime sun exposure is based on your lat/lon and month/day.

Thanks! So my light and solar rad sensors aren't used by the isy other than to report the light percentage?

IndyMike is correct. ISY calculates Solar radiation on its own and does not use anything coming from the climate module.

My light percent this morning is 3% and its 2 hours past sunrise. It's cloudy but pretty bright here.

It's now very sunny here at 3:26pm. My light % is showing 50%. Seems like it would be close to 100%
