midrar Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) I have a problem with all the devices in a scene not displaying the correct status. I have a program that when a specific button on a keypad is pressed, it turns on 4 banks of hallway lights. Then I have a wait statement for X minutes, and then shut all the lights off. Here is my problem, The lights come on when I press the button, then shut off after X minutes. But, in the ADMIN console, the correct status for that entire scene isn't displayed. Instead of off, it shows they are ALL on. In addition, a couple switches are still on (these switches aren't connected to a load, 2007 switches). Lastly, the button I first pressed on the keypad doesn't turn off either (Yes, the button is set to a scene to turn off, part of my housekeeping folder). My other scenes work just fine, which I think rules out the PLM. I do notice that all the devices I am having issues with are older devices, maybe back from 2007. Not sure if that could be it but I am just throwing it out there. Any thoughts? Edited July 22, 2014 by midrar
LeeG Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Check the Folder Status that contains the Scene. Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3 so the actions that are actually performed are traced. Too many things are not happening to believe the Scenes are actually being invoked.
midrar Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 Now there is this link that explains the event viewer in wiki: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Using_the_Event_Viewer But it doesn't show the definitions such as LTMCON (DOWN) LTOFFRR (00) LTONNRR (00) Thanks
