DWalker Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Many local water districts in California are now offering rebates to upgrade your irrigation system to one that utilizes weather conditions to adjust the amount being watered. The DWP has a very strong rebate in place (200 per controller and 35 per station). I found a similar program here in Redlands, Ca ( 80 per controller). In the case of Redlands, you have to have your receipt, the old controller and some documentaion showing how it integrates with the weather conditions. If you have been on the fence about upgrading to the EZRain/EZFlora, this could be a good push in the right direction.
Michel Kohanim Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Hi DWalker, We have looked into that as well. The main issue is that we have to make the whole solution certified by Water Smart without which you cannot get the rebate. With kind regards, Michel
DWalker Posted August 22, 2014 Author Posted August 22, 2014 i was told by Redlands that they have approved units like ours. I'll let you know if they approve it.
Michel Kohanim Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Hello DWalker, That would be fantastic. Thanks so very much! With kind regards, Michel
