ravedog
Looking at the module, I see a "Last Update Time" Correct me of I'm wrong but that date and time is that last time the ISY FETCHED the WX info from the station , yes? There should be another stat in there and that is the last time the station reported it's stats. Last time ISY fetched is not really needed unless you are trying to see if the module worked. The important item is the last time that station updated its info to HAM. Any thoughts? Link to comment
CompKing
I agree with this point. I understand this is available in the API Query. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi ravedog, Correct, that's the last time ISY fetched data and it's important to make sure that there are no communication errors. We can possibly also get last update time from HAM but it has not been included in ISY. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
ravedog
I think that would be good to get. For instance in my external program that fetches weather underground data, I compute time between a station updates and send that time to the isy in a separate variable. Then I will (sill working on it) have the isy look at the elapsed time and notify me if that station went dead. Since the current firmware can't use the date from the module, it can't be used in programming but it be good to have to use in the future (maybe in 5.0?)
