Can't open ISY99i administrative console

Featured Replies

I recently started having some issues with lighting commands not firing with my ElkM1G panel. I was messing around in the ISY99i console and merely changed the internet (I believe subnet mask). Now after exiting the console I can't seem to get back into it. Help would be appreciated.

Do you know what you changed the netmask to?

Then try this, adjust the settings on your computer's network connection to have the same netmask and then try to access the ISY and fix the netmask.  Then set your computer's netmask back to 255.255.255.0

If the above fails to work because its going through a router. You may have to use a cross over cable and connect directly to the ISY and make the connections then adjust the subnet mask to its previous value.

NOTE: Newer laptop (some) computers can auto configure to cross over via their Ethernet card. You have a 50/50 chance of this working if a cross over cable is not available.

Sorry I haven't responded sooner but the Ethernet crossover cable just arrived in the mail however I am still unable to get into the administrative console. Any further suggestions?

Is you NIC set to obtain an IP and DNS address automatically?

If so, and address If http://isy( or http://isy:port_number) doesn't work and you have a recent backup, then try a factory reset.

Did you fix this?
