AnthemAVM Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I noticed today, that I had trouble enabling the internet acess on the ISY. Then after shuting the router off, and unpluging the ISY, I was able to get it to work. When I go under help, the internet address is http:/0.0.0.0/ Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks
Michel Kohanim Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Hi AnthemAVM, You are not doing anything wrong: ISY is asking your router for the external IP address to which your router is responding with 0.0.0.0. Perhaps you should reboot your router one more time! With kind regards, Michel I noticed today, that I had trouble enabling the internet acess on the ISY. AnthemAVM Posted September 28, 2008 Author Posted September 28, 2008 Hi Michael, I rebooted the router, and still nothing showing up. I went to my cell phone and pulled up the short cut to the ISY via the IE, and it went right there. So things are working, just not the ISY to Router. Any other ideas, what I might not have set correctly? Thanks
Michel Kohanim Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Hello AnthemAVM, Have you setup ISY using File->Enable Internet Access or have you done it manually? With kind regards, Michel Hi Michael, I rebooted the router, and still nothing showing up. I went to my cell phone and pulled up the short cut to the ISY via the IE, and it went right there. AnthemAVM Posted September 29, 2008 Author Posted September 29, 2008 Michael, I have done the file-enable internet access, I was having trouble getting the ISY to do it. It gave me a bunch of failed attempts. So I unplugged the ISY and Router, and then it allowed me to do it. The weird thing is I can go to the spepicific Https://address.com and get into the ISY. Thanks
AnthemAVM Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 Michael, I went back and disabled internet access, and back and on, and it is back. Michael
Michel Kohanim Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Hello Michael, Do you have Dynamic DNS? Have you considered assigning your ISY a static IP address (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... IP_Address)? With kind regards, Michel Michael, I went back and disabled internet access, and back and on, and it is back. Michael
