sumguy Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I installed the newest 994 beta 4.2.23 last night. Installation went fine. All devices responded via Admin Console. However, my Mobilinc Connect quit working. The iOS app was unable to connect on both wifi and cellular. It was working fine until I upgraded. I rebooted my ISY and also confirmed that the Mobilinc Connect module was installed... no luck. I reverted back to 4.2.22 and it works fine again. This morning I tried 4.2.23 again just to see if it was a corrupt install but no luck. Mobilinc Connect quit working immediately. Dropped back down to 4.2.22 and it works fine. I posted this in the 4.2.23 thread and someone with Mobilinc for Android said they had no problem connecting via Connect. Anyone with iOS seeing the same issue?

Can you email our support line (support@mobilinc.com) with your ISY's UUID and your ISY's error log? This is very likely a DNS issue and we recommend you try the following: - If your ISY is DHCP IP assigned (default) please reboot your network equipment including your router and modem, and then reboot your ISY. Wait 5 minutes and try MobiLinc again. - If your ISY is fixed IP assigned, please use the Google Open DNS IP for the ISY's DNS IP address: 8.8.4.4 Wes
sumguy Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Wes, I just upgraded to 4.2.23 and changed the DNS to Google and it works. Odd how it worked without Google DNS on previous firmware versions. I won't question it, I am just happy it works!! Thanks for your help!!
