LeeG
The Scenes are not in Alpha order which makes me think the Admin Console has not been restarted in some time. I think the same thing applies to the devices in the Scenes. Exit the Admin Console and restart. Link to comment
lpollis
Thanks. You were correct. I hadn't restarted the console since I installed and configured my system. I have an extesive Insteon system and was using HouseLinc until last week so I had to import all from the devices. Still trying to sort out how the ISY handles everything. Lp Link to comment

Lp If I allow my Admin Console to slip into background processing I cannot trust the Admin Console anymore to show updated variable and/or program statuses. I can usually change program code and write it to ISY no problem but updates usually suffer and foils my debugging sleuthing. There is no indication of this except things do not seam to function properly inside the Admin Console. Exiting and rebooting the Admin Console always fixes the problem until I run another task without closing the Admin Console again. Link to comment
EricK
It is very confusing when trying to find a particular device entry in a scene. Example: See attached Thanks, Lp Good move in migrating to the isy. People use many different device naming schemes. One thing that might make things difficult for you is when you write programs. In the drop down box devices are listed alphabetically. When you go to select a device it will be more of a challenge to find it since you name by device address. If you click on any device the insteon address is listed in the window on the right, so not needed in the device name. Or you can keep the address but put it at the end of the device name. I name my devices by room, as most do. Have fun. Link to comment
