Colour scheme for forum

Many of the fonts on the forum are greyish mid-blue on a light grey background or medium grey on a light grey background (profile settings and edit box)
 
Can the contrast of colours be increased? with any glare on my monitors it is very hard to read some of the fonts. This evident almost anywhere on the forum pages.
