Phillips 100w dimmable LED

Featured Replies

I stocked up on incandescent bulbs so I could switch after LED technology was FULLY proven to be dimmable and work with Insteon (no flicker or noise injection) and not cost more than house [emoji3]

I've got several 60w Cree bulbs in 3 versions and couple 100w and they are good for over 6 months. I want more 100w bulbs but Cree 100w still overly expensive for my logic compared to recent 60w versions. Does anyone have experience with following:

Thanks

At $14.47 per bulb before any tax's that is really a good deal. Why not buy a box and test them out and let us know? It would be great to read a review of how they perform with Insteon and also know how they dim and if they buzz / hum etc.

Also considering following for non dimmable locations (basement, attic)

At $6.74 per bulb do you even have to ask? Just buy five cases and run out the door matter of fact buy me some too and toss it over the great wall you guys are building to keep the rift raft out of America!

Ha . . .

Very willing to test and report. Just putting out feeler to see if any bad results already known.

HomeDepot will always take back so no real risk.

I just wish they would have put a main element in those that started with 3000K.

2700K is not a great white light for working under and with a variable colour temperature it limits the usage to bedroom cuddling and TV watching without crafts.

The 'Warm Glow' ones were seen at HD.ca for about the $6-7 range but the online catalogue doesn't reflect that now as the prices seem inflated. I will have to do a double take survey here. The prices did seem low on the shelves, esp. for Canada.

It seems Philips finally gave up on their weird squashed bulb. They seem to be disappearing fast and on sale a lot.
