Status not Changing

Featured Replies

I have added a second Insteon Garage Door Control & Status Kit. The status of the sensor is not updating on the ISY unless I manually query that device. I have looked at my other Garage Door Kit and all settings appear the same. I have my ISY send a notification if the door opens so i need the status to update instantly. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Zach

Does the Sensor status LED next to wire connections turn On/Off with door movement?

Is the new I/O Linc on the same or opposite 120v leg?

Are the 2 120v legs coupled?  If yes, how?

The sensor status LED does turn on and off. The New I/O Linc is on the same circuit as the older I/O Linc that is working fine.

Suggest a Show Device Links Table for new I/O Linc.   The Sensor must have a Controller (E2)  link pointing back to the PLM.

Also an Event Trace at LEVEL 3 showing door open/close of first I/O Linc.  The I/O Linc is powerline only.   It is possible for one device to work and another on the same circuit not work if powerline comm is poor.

After Looking at the Links Tables I noticed the device was different from the ISY. I did a restore device and it is Now working as it should and the link tables match between the ISY and device. Thanks for your help.

Great news.  Any time.
