I just got my 99i/IR and updated to 2.6.11, after spending 12 hours converting my Homeseer installation to ISY I ran into the Scene bug here described today. Luckly I managed to check back and see 2.6.12 up and grabbed that. Scene bug gone, but I had to delete my scenes created with 2.6.11 and rebuild them under 2.6.12 to make them work.

What I'm running into now is a program bug (or feature??). I was trying to find a way to group programs based on how I did it in Homeseer. Create a folder for Midnight, Sunrise, Sunset, etc.... Create some programs in each folder. If you manually try to run them while in the folder, they won't run, no matter what you do. If you yank them out of the folder and put them on the root one, they run fine. I'm not quite sure what to make of that.

I'm using the Homeseer ISY program that will read the ISY and create all the devices on the fly in Homeseer. So far, so good --- and I'm able to run my programs out of homeseer, but would rather do it directly on the ISY.

Other then that, great product! Look forward to all the updates.

Brian

Under program details, to add or edit a schedule the time drop down menus just show .... Also under Manage Programs, the buttons show partial words then... (New...; Und...) I am using Firefox with an iMac. It looks like a font size issue. Is this something I can correct? I think it happened when I upgraded to 2.6.10.

Thanks.

I am having an issue with the web service. I get the error:

Subscription is referenced but not defined

What am I to define?

Name: http://x.x.x.x/services.wsdl. WSDL: http://x.x.x.x/services.wsdl. java.io.IOException: Type {http://www.universal-devices.com/wsdk/isy/1.0}Subscription is referenced but not defined. It is recommended that you use a web browser to retrieve and examine the requested WSDL document to ensure it is correct. If the requested WSDL document cannot be retrieved or is dynamically generated, it is likely that the target web service has programming errors.

I am assuming you have conditions on the folders that you have your programs in (midnight, sunrise, etc.). If the folder condition is NOT true then any programs within that folder can not be run...even manually.

However, I would assume that even though the folder conditions are False, when you right click on the folder in Program Summary, and select "Run Then" which would bypass the condition and "Allow all programs in this folder to run", it should run all programs in that folder.... as long as there are no "If" conditions on those programs within that folder as well.... That would seem logical to me...

Hi Michael,

Apologies ... we have left all the GUI bugs for last but this shall surely be fixed in our official 2.7 release (as soon as we get all the i2/Insteon bugs fixed).

Thanks so very much for your patience,

With kind regards,

Michel

That's not the way it works... If the folder conditions are not true, the program will not run.

Hello all,

For all who are interested in a possible fix for the on level/ramp rate issue, please checkout this post:

http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... hp?p=14246

Thanks and with kind regards,

Michel

Hi Michel,

I've tested 2.6.13 and so far, cannot duplicate any problems with ramp rates, trying local control, status seems fine in this version. I'll let it run throughout the day and see what heppens, but so far so good.

I'm really impressed with the service level at UDI!

Michel,

I tried again. I even went into Dreamweaver and it's still giving me the same error. I will keep at it as I really don't know what is wrong. But it did work in the past.

Just to make sure, I went back to .8 and the web service is working in Dreamweaver.

Edit:Again.

I see what you did now. You removed the following:

I'm guessing something is not being read correctly now.

I have an EZIO 2x4 which was linked during the 2.6.8 days.

The 2.6.12 update seemed not to allow me to add it with the linking drop down menu as I could with the Motion Sensors. So I added it the old fashioned way and it seems that there is not full support of that device.

Do the latter releases fully support the EZIO 2x4?

Gary and Nick,

Where would we be without you? Eclipse decided that we could have a type (Subscription) without it being defined. I now added it back and it should work fine ... please do wait for 2.6.13.

Thanks SO very much,

With kind regards,

Michel,

I see you updated udiws10.wsdl but not udiws10.ws

http://www.universal-devices.com/wsdk/isy/1.0/

Could that be the reason I can't get the web service to work?

Hi Joe,

It's with regret that I have to inform you none of our releases fully support EZIO. It's basically dependent on your luck (and our luck) ... we have almost exhausted all our options: sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. We have not been able to figure out the secret ingredient yet.

This said, however, we have not given up yet.

With kind regards,

Michel

Thank you Michel. It is good to know I'm not totally crazy. (grin)

And for .13... is it done yet?
