In trying to send ISY commands via Echo,  I keep getting message from echo "ISY access is pending approval in admin console".

 

So far can't find how to grant this approval in admin console.   Help and direction, please?

Go to Manage Modules... Help > Manage Modules in the UI

Sounds like Skywizzard was having a similar error, though he reported it in the portal, not from echo.

Have you enable the ISY skill?

User error:  Echo show it had linked to ISY  BUT I had not bought an ISY portal.  thought my existing portal for MobiLinc Pro would work with Echo.

 

OK,  so bought portal, installed it, I had already created a portal ID with UUID and log in.

 

But now, when I go to configuration in the Admin console, there is NO portal tab under configuration!   Huh?

 

Have rebooted ISY and rebooted Admin console - but no portal tab.    Help, suggestions

What firmware and UI version are installed?  (Help > About in UI)

After purchasing the portal you should have gotten an email to register it. It needs to know which ISY to access.

Posted same problem in another forum - the answer was that my UI was out of date.  Cleared java cache and reinstalled - portal tab appeared and I was able to give permission to communicate with the portal.  Not much luck yet getting devices to respond, but working on it.

I seem to be having the same problem but my portal UI is not out of date. My portal shows "Offline" and I when I try to connect from the my.isy.io page it tells me it pending approval by owner, but I'm seeing no approval request. 

The Admin approval request is in the Java Admin Console - not the ISY Portal Console.

 

What version does it show in 'Help' 'About'?
