ISY not updating modules but query works

Michael et al,

I've got about 70 various modules/Insteon compatible devices and the majority communicate fine with the ISY.

 

However I've got three that will not successfully complete a write update from the ISY994i/IR. There's no error indicated - the green write updates indicator just falls back to the short green one.

I can query them successfully and can interact with them via the ISY. One is an appliance model and two are keypad link dimmers.

 

I'm at the current software release (not beta) and have also tried physically resetting on of the link dimmers to see if that helped to no avail. I've also tried 'restore' through the ISY.

 

Could you please point me to the appropriate next troubleshooting steps ?

When an update does not complete (goes back to green 1011 Icon) the update encountered an error so the remaining update remains pending.  There could be dozens to hundreds of commands pending so no comparison to a single query. 

 

To understand the error that is occurring run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3.  Right click on primary node with pending update and select Write Updates to Device.  Assuming the poor comm continues, when the green 1011 icon appears copy the event trace to Clipboard and paste to forum post.
