PS. I am on 4.3.26

Did you try New Insteon Device and manually selecting the ezflora? If you scroll down the list of devices, the ezflora is 4.00

Thanks for the pointer Paul! Manually selecting EZFlora did add it into the system as such but for some reason only added 5 of the 8 zones. Any idea why that would be?

Wierd. No reason I can think of. Ideas at this point:

  1. Close, then re-run the admin console ..or..
  2. Unplug and replug in the ezflora .. if that doesn't work...
  3. repeat step 2, delete the ezflora and add it back in again

Guessing a bit at this point

Try right click on EZFlora node and select Group Devices.  You may have all, eight nodes but they are not listed together without being 'grouped' together.

Thanks again Paul. Gave those steps a try and same result. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks Lee, but that didn't make a difference.

One last suggestion, it may be the ezflora itself. Factory reset the ezflora. I don't know the steps, but the manual in the box should have it.

Curious... what does Help > About show for Firmware and UI?

After uninstalling and factory reset you might open Event Viewer to level 3 and copy linking events then post back trace.  I've developed a habit with new devices to link from the same outlet as my PLM.  I have extension cord I've parted the outlet end from and use that for wired devices and a short adapter I use for wall warts.

Finally had a chance to look at the issue again. Removed the EZFlora, rebooted and then added with a level 3 trace;

Hello Automate The World,

Is this a 994i? If so, do you know how many nodes/scenes/folders you have? It might be that you are reaching the 254 limit.

With kind regards,

Michel

thanks for the reply Michel. Is there a count somewhere or do I have to literally count each one?

Hello Automate The World,

Unfortunately no count anywhere. This said, you can definitely use Tools | Generate Topology for a high level view of where you are.

With kind regards,

Michel

Hi Michel,

Thanks for the tip. Instead I had a few devices that I don't use anymore so I deleted them from the system and then re-added the EZFlora and everything is all good!

It would have been nice if as I was linking and there were not enough nodes available that a message would tell me so.

On a side note I remember thinking about 4 years ago when I bought this ISY that there is no way I would ever need more than 256 devices/nodes and here we are. :-)

Thanks for all the help everyone!
