Teken Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) I wanted to know if others are experiencing the same volume issue I see here? If the volume is set to 2 its pretty quiet but if you ask her to adjust it to 3 the volume just shoots up. Going to 3, 4, 5 the volume appears to be a steady incremental change in dB level. One would have guessed with all the digital electronics the volume would be smoother. The volume ring works perfectly fine and since its late I haven't had the chance to confirm if the ring has any impact to the disparity of the volume from 2-3. I gather not because the ring volume has been adjusted many times in the past to obtain the correct volume. Edited March 10, 2016 by Teken Quote
Tim McDermott Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I, too have noticed this non-linearity. Although it shouldn't be a big deal, it is kind of annoying. Quote
Teken Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 I, too have noticed this non-linearity. Although it shouldn't be a big deal, it is kind of annoying. That's great to know someone else is seeing the same issue. Sometimes I just need volume 2 to be 2.50, but when you ask the system to go from 2 to 3 its like 2-4.5?!?! But like I said if you're on volume 3 and go to 4, 5, 6, it seems to be a uniform stepped output. I suppose the reality is my lazy aszz needs to get off the chair and dial it down to the exact level I want. Ha . . . Quote
