List of Compatible Devices?

Featured Replies

Is there list of compatible devices to work with ISY and the Z-wave module? I know some other systems do have the correct firmware to work with everything. Thanks!

Can you provide a link to any system that has the "correct firmware to work with everything?"

More importantly, what specifically do you want to control?

I misspoke... For example, I have a Qolsys alarm panel that only works with a VERY limited number of devices. I want to know simply what devices do work with the ISY? Such as motion sensors, outlets plug in modules etc. Anything form Aeon labs?

Multi-channel Z-Wave devices are not currently supported by the ISY, but that's being worked on.

Hi mfranzel,

We don't have a list mainly because with the nature of Z-Wave, controllers implement generic functionality.  Therefore the ISY supports many devices we have never tested.  For example, the ISY should control almost any dimmer from any manufacturer even though we only tested with a couple of them (GE being one).

If you have specific devices you would like to know about, we may be able to help.  Additionally, through their own experiences, others on this forum may be able to tell you about how compatible they are with ISY.

Stu, would that be accomplished by a firmware update or an updated Z-Wave module, or has it been added since you posted this?

When I replace my front door sometime this year, I'm going to upgrade to an ISY-994iZW, a Z-Wave deadbolt, and other devices.

AFAIK, multi-channel devices are supported by ISY v5. That requires a firmware update, but v5 is still in Alpha. There is currently no newer Z-Wave module.

I use two Mimo-lites to control my curtains. I have had these for several months and zero issues.

The MimoLite is not a multi-mode Z-Wave devices. I'm using them successfully with ISY v 4.6.2.

You are using the official "stable" release of ISY firmware. Many of are using v5.0.12 alpha, and most of us find it completely stable and much more advanced.

Where do you find this firmware ?

I confirm that I consider 5.0.12 very stable

UDI don’t though. Make sure to read the warnings, and take a backup!
