drabenaldt Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 I have the same error and can't get the ISY to send email or download modules. Same static IP since I set the unit up, and email has worked until recently. Changed to DHCP and still have errors. Can someone please help? Michel Kohanim Posted July 24, 2016 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Hi drabenaldt, If your router is TPLink or if you are using a custom router with DNSMASQ service as dhcp server, then you are going to have problems and, unfortunately, there are really no remedies on the ISY side to address these issues. HeritageOaksGT Posted December 25, 2016 Share Posted December 25, 2016 Just want to confirm that the DNS error was RESOLVED when I switched the ISY994 from static to dynamic IP address using DHCP. New modules installed right away, and I was then able to re-establish the static IP address, subnet, gateway and DNS entries as before.
