bryner Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 I'm wondering if anyone has had success with using the new ISY Portal and the Harmony line of hub remotes. I've seen a lot of questions regarding this topic, but none seem to reference using the ISY Portal. With these new capabilities I would think the integration could finally become reality. Ideas? Thanks, Blake Quote
paulbates Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Hi Blake Welcome to the forums! The ISY Portal product supports IFTTT. And, IFTTT supports the Harmony hub. The amazon echo can be connected as well. It probably depends what kind of integration you're interested in... For instance, push an insteon keypad button, and have the hub turn on the tv, etc? bryner Posted June 27, 2016 Author Posted June 27, 2016 Thanks for the reply. Ultimately, I was hoping the ISY would show up under home control device on my Harmony software. I have the ancient IRLinc, but have never had great results with it. Perhaps it does everything I need, but just a flaky device I'd like to to hit Watch TV and have some lights come on. I'd also like to have control of all other lights not on the Watch TV if I decide to manually turn them on. It would also be nice if I could have one button that toggles the scenes much like the KeypadLinc works. When adding the IRLinc I've only been able to have separate on and off buttons. Quote
