asbril Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 I actually came up with an interesting solution, which does not require IFTTT on ISY, nor the Network module. (1) In ISY I created a program that if Device X is ON, then a notification is sent to my Outlook.com account. (2) In my mail program I created a rule that if a message comes in from " alerts@universal-devices.com " then it is forwarded to " trigger@recipe.ifttt.com ". (3) In my IFTTT web page I created a Recipe that if it receives an email from my Outlook.com email, then a call is made to a specific phone number. This works !!!! but there are some cons. For whatever reason Outlook.com (online) refuses to execute the rule to forward the set incoming email to trigger@recipe.ifttt.com (it works with other email addresses) . Therefore I set it up in my computer mail application, which requires my computer always to be on. Furthermore, I don't think that IFTTT can send a phone call to more than one number, though I have not tried if I can set up a second Recipe with a different phone number. Of course I know that ISY can send emails and SMS notifications directly (without IFTTT) but I wanted a solution whereby a phonecall is made. I understand that this " Alarm " setup has its shortcomings including reliability, but it shows that even Home Automation (technically challenged) novices such as me can achieve some simple solutions. I will continue to work on this and hopefully improve on the reliability, especially so that it works "online" rather than needing one of my cpmputers to be on 24/7.
asbril Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 I tried..... Gmail requires verification code from forward email, which clearly will not work. However it works with the IFTTT Recipe "Gmail Lost Phone". Now I need to find a way to have it phone more than one number...... Making progress.
asbril Posted February 13, 2017 Author Posted February 13, 2017 You can have amazing and cost effective application for telemarketing campaign with the help of cloud based auto dialers. These dialers consist of smart technology that would automatically dial appropriate and available customers. Along with this it would generate higher leads. For more information visit I think that you are violating the spirit (if not the rules) of this forum. Your post is out of context and purely commercial. Shame on you.
