Can a Triggerlinc talk to an I/O Linc?

Hi,

Again my garage door was left open & I think I am ready to get that hooked into my insteon network. I would like to be able to monitor that door with the new triggerlinc (wireless door contacts).

While I know the triggerlinc isnt out yet, is the idea that using the ISY, I could see that the garage door is open (thanks to the triggerlinc) and then open / close it with the I/O linc?

I see they sell a garage I/O Kit, but I would prefer the wireless contacts (they they dont stink).

Thanks,

Rich

Hi Rich,

Yes, absolutely!

With kind regards,

Michel

Take a look at autocloser. I have it working for almost 3 years without a glitch

Hi,

What is the autocloser? Can you send me a link?

Thanks,

Rich

Just use Google or Yahoo search. It's not hard to find.

Maybe this is more of a garage question. I think that my sensors (that stop the door from closing) might not be working right more than people not closing the door.
