d.cobian Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Hi everyone. Yes, you are right. I did got 2 of those ugly Multisensor 6 from Aeotec ( Aeotec won't even answer your emails so don't bother ) and they are both stuck on Fahrenheit instead of Celsius, what is useless for me since I live in Vancouver, BC. Canada. (we are metric down here [and calculating {50 - 32 } / 1.8, just to realize that outside is 10 C is not funny ]). Looking for some close neighbor that will allow me to rent his/her z-stick to update my Multisensors 6's firmware and it will be return with cheers. ( not even one bit missing in it ) any help will be appreciated it. thanks zdn234@live.com
d.cobian Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 Maybe it won't be a bad idea if we have some kind of Craigslist in the Forum. I always have some devices that i don't need and somebody may have something that i am looking for. As far as we both have Paypal we are good to go. What you, Masters of the Universe think of my idea?
Michel Kohanim Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Hi d.cobian, The ISY does not currently convert these values to either F/C, but it will set the preferred unit in the device if the device supports doing so. We are planning on having the ISY itself do conversion in the future. Starting view Aeotec multisensor firmware version 1.07, there is a parameter to set F/C preference. If your multisensor is not 1.07, you can upgrade it as described here. https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000036562-multisensor-6-firmware-update-6-17-2016- The new parameters are described in this document (I believe its configuration parameter number 64) https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/helpdesk/attachments/6028954764 With kind regards, Michel

d.cobian Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Thanks Michel for your good wishes. I don't think the firmware upgrade works without the z-stick ( I already tried ). But thanks any way for the reply. I will end buying a z-stick from Aartech.ca is nobody has one for rent.
