(Larrylix learned a long time ago that you can't take anything I say too seriously.)

Put this up on reddit just now ( https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/52ewme/i_am_really_digging_this_isy_controller/)

i am just a DIY'er, not affiliated with universal devices, not making this post on behalf or behest of them. I'm just a happy dude right now

For those few left here who don't know, i've been struggling with zWave for over 10 years (https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/4wrygi/10_years_of_domestic_abuse_by_zwave_controllers/ ). I've tried 10 different controllers. Well, i'm happy to say the 10th time really does look like its the charm. Or, I finally stopped buying cheap controllers, and got one that even the California Exchange Commission awarded $3.2M to expand abilities in the area of energy management (http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/19079-udi-is-awarded-a-32m-grant-from-cec/ )

This thing really seems to have helped mitigate my zWave woes. I have some guesses as to why it works better, but I don't care, it looks like my demons have been calmed.

I still get very occasional lost devices on the furthest ones, but in a few months I'm going to be tearing down 4 walls that are plaster/lathe with lead paint and putting up acoustic insulation, sheetrock, and latex paint.

Yes it cost me $500 after paying for the top-end controller and a few add on licenses but I DON'T CARE MY ZWAVE FINALLY WORKS! And I don't have to spend >$10K on RadioRA2 to overcome my environmental constraints.

I'll be recording a short vlog on the various rules engines soon so you can see how it compares to the others for yourself. (SmartThings, Elk, ISY, IFTTT, CQC)

I'm so happy that I've decided to give all of you the rest of the day off. Go home, do fun home automation stuff. Tell your boss a tall bald pudgy Indian dude on the internet said it was okay.
