troy.lynch Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I just noticed I can link my smart meter to UtilityAPI to monitor my usage. I'd like to connect my ISY and monitor my electricity consumption and price. Looks like OpenADR is the only thing support in the box? Is there a way to connect my smartmeter to the isy?
Teken Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 You will need to first determine if your POCO is one of the utilities that support the ISY Series Controller. I believe there is a list on the website if not submit a service request to inquire with UDI as to support or not. If your POCO does support it you can have UDI assist you in connecting the system. Because some of the utilities that do support it the customer support agents are completely clueless about what to do.
cyberk Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I got this in my area, I wonder if I can somehow connect ISY to it https://www.fpl.com/smart-meters/control.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Michel Kohanim Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Hi troy.lynch, The APIs for SmartMeter are in the WSDK: https://www.universal-devices.com/isy-developers/ With kind regards, Michel
GeneInSoCal Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 It has been quite some time since I inquired as to whether the ISY-994i ever be type accepted by SDG&E?
Michel Kohanim Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 GeneInSoCal, I wished I could tell you a definitive answer. Every time we contact them, they say that it's waiting for approval from their infrastructure team. I am so sorry. With kind regards, Michel
