The options you see in the ISY Series Controller assume its for a 4 / 8 button RL2.

someguy Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 what I am saying is that I have a two button switch. The ISY knows that I have a two button switch (because it can read the model number as a 2342-242) but the ISY is giving me options for a four or eight button switch. I believe that the ISY programming is wrong.

Brian H Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Another possibility is some of the options are not supported by the RemoteLinc model you have. I have a few modules where some Options are listed for it but not supported. When I try to use the option. Either nothing happens or I get a warning indicating the Option is not supported in the module in question.

I don't want to reset it because I already have it programmed to my ISY. I'll try changing these settings and see what it does.

ISY has made it very simple to factory reset devices when needed.Factory reset, put in linking mode, if battery device, click on restore in admin console....voila!
someguy Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 I tried changing the unit to one of the three options (four scene, or one of the 8 scene options) and none of them "take". when I click the radio button while the unit is in programming mode, the radio button won't stay clicked. I believe there is a bug in ISY.
