Mobilinc connect drops connections?

Hello,

 

Does mobilinc connect supports 5.0.6? I can't access it from browser, and my app reports connection lost.

 

My system is 5.0.6, with NodeLink 0.6.4 which integrates HoneyWell alarm system via EVL-4.

 

5.0.4 was working fine.

The release notes for 5.0.6 specificaly state that it's not a stable release: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/20032-release-506-alpha-is-now-available/

 

While we haven't seen any issues with ISYs running alpha 5.x releases staying connected to MobiLinc Connect, I can't recommend running Alpha firmware on your main (non-test) ISY(s).

Agree about the alpha firmware. At the end of the day, it is a risk vs. benefit choice that we have to make.

 

I found the issue - ISY was spitting bad XML for /desc command. not sure why, but a reboot fixed it.
