I have to assume that the relative "quiteness" in forums since this latest beta means everyone else is having the same great experiences that I am.

Hats of to UDI folks. This beta seems to be one of the most stable versions thus far.

Thanks for being so responsive to everyone's concerns. I think your support model will pay dividends in the long term.

I've noticed communications seem to be greatly improved. Some Scenes however are not working well for me.

I had a dinner Scene which should turn off most of my 1st floor lights, but set the dining and kitchen cabinet lights to a defined level. I can't get it to work reliably. Some lights don't respond at all. Sometimes there is a delay of like 20 or 30 seconds.

I tried removing the devices, and the scene all together and starting from scratch. I also restored these devices. Still didn't work.

I gave up and just used programs to get it to work.

I am having similar issues to Steve. Some lamps are not responding to group commands and simply fail to turn on or off. Other times one or more lamps in a scene turns on in response to a KPL press, but then immediately dims to roughly 50% or simply turns itself off. Last night one lamp failed to respond to a scheduled off command, and then flatly refused to respond to multiple keypad presses. (This is a brand new lamplinc I just got after RMAing one of my "defective" lamplincs.) Restoring the problem devices has not seemed to resolve these issues.

One time since upgrading to 2.6.14 my landscape lights failed to turn off in response to the scheduled OFF command at 2am. The log shows that the program ran on time. The switchlinc relay just didn't respond.

Suggestions are appreciated. I don't get many opportunities to complain about my wife's scrapbooking hobby. Unfortunately, her opportunities to complain about my hobby seem to be on the rise.

Hi Tim,

I do apologize for the inconvenience.

Please choose one of your problematic devices (hopefully the lamplinc), remove it from ISY, do a factory reset on it, and then add it back in ISY. If this does not solve the issue - and if possible - please move your device close to your PLM. If this solves the issue then - as much as I hate to say it - the problem is that the signals are not getting to your device (not being repeated). If not, then you have a defective device.

In all likelihood, the problem is signal related and the messages are not being repeated.

With kind regards,

Michel

Bravo on addressing and resolving issues - especially on the communication of findings and suspicions. :)

On the "frustrating but good news" front, I've found that doing a restore doesn't seem to fix the problems that 2.6.13 created or encountered; but the full remove / default / start over works.

I have yet to default all 50-some devices; but I may do that.

Thanks again for owning up to the issues and addressing them and communicating.
