InsteonNut
Hi Folks, Two announcements to make this morning: 1. We've been working to upgrade the MobiLinc Connect service with today's best practices for securing communications. I'm happy to report that phase 1 is complete. We've seen a few ISY-994is unable to reconnect due to using an older version of the ISY 4.x firmware. If you find that your ISY is all of a sudden unable to connect, please update your ISY-994i to the latest 4.x official release. You can do that by logging into the Admin Console from a PC/MAC and going to Help->Automatically Upgrade. If after upgrading your ISY still doesn't reconnect, please make sure that the ISY is set to HTTPS TLS 1.1 or 1.2 in the ISY's Dashboard. Information regarding accessing the ISY Dashboard can be found here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/19961-release-454-is-now-official/ Protocol needs to be set to TLS 1.1 or 1.2, strength can be set to any value and verify should remain off for now. 2. Phase 2 of our upgrade will start June 1st, 2017 when we will discontinue support for the old ISY-99i and firmware 3.x. The discontinued ISY-99i uses outdated and insecure methods of communications and we will need to drop support for the old ISY-99i/firmware 3.x starting on June 1st in order to move forward with new planned features for MobiLinc Connect. If you have the ISY-99i, please contact UDI Sales: sales@Universal-devices.com for information on upgrading to the current ISY-994i. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at: support@mobilinc.com Wes
smokegrub
I use the Admin Console, not the Dashboard. I assume these instructions have no applicability to me.
InsteonNut
Hi smokegrub, The Dashboard is another interface for the ISY that exposes some additional settings. This would only apply if your ISY is the ISY-994i PRO series AND you've changed the HTTPS Protocol settings via the Dashboard at some point in the past to TLS 1.0. For almost all users, this does not apply. Wes
