Anyone know if you can use your smart phone to control Universal Devices ISY & insteon modules  ??   I keep losing the small Insteon 8 zone controller.

Edited by teverk

Sure, I use the MobiLinc app on my smartphone to do that, which connects to the ISY through either the ISY or MobiLinc portal

What's a "small Insteon 8 zone controller."

Everybody knows its a thingamajig with eight whatchamacallits where the whodickies light up like whatzits. Not the thingamabob ones that look like gizmos or widgets with whatnots on them.

Anyway, if the OP would say the flavor of 'smart phone' I'm sure we could have better advise.

IOS, Mobilinc for sure.

Android, look at Agave.

Windows Phone, I'm sorry. Got nothin'.

The Windows Insteon Phone app is the less favorite child. I won't kid with that.
