andrew77 Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Hi Guys; I had many communication issues and one of the solutions a member said was to ensure the versions for the UI and the firmware matched. I've updated this morning and see that the Firmware is 4.6.2 and the UI is 4.5.4 Is there a way to fix this? The update seemed to go fine. Drew
Brian H Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 (edited) Look at the starting post for 4.6.2 firmware. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/22000-release-462-is-now-official/ The firmware update does not update the UI or Dashboard. The post gives you the link to the new UI and how to properly update it. It also gives the link to the 4.6.2 Dashboard if you use it. Edited July 18, 2017 by Brian H
andrew77 Posted July 18, 2017 Author Posted July 18, 2017 Hi Brian; First off thank you for the fast reply. I followed the link and read through it. I downloaded a file called admin16.jnlp When I click on it I have the same versions now. I've not done anything else so I'm unclear if I'm doing it right. For a while now I've noticed I have to download an odd looking file and click on that to get my ISY GUI up. I used to have an actual app called ISY994i Console. I use a MAC so I'm not sure if this is the new way things are done or if I'm missing something. When I first click on the .jnlp file it says its downloading to my desktop (nothing ends up being there so I assume its a temp file that doesn't stay) I just move the .jnlp file to my Apps folder and use that. I find this odd as it wasn't always like this. Is there something I'm missing? Drew
