High voltage on Generac 25 kw generator

I recently bought a house with a generator. It is whole house, Generac model 5324 25 kw generator. It runs great. I have a couple of books from the previous owner. The no load voltage is 248vac. I want to lower it and can't find how to do this in the tech manuals. Does anyone know how to lower the voltage?

Why would you want to lower it? The generator is designed to be connected to the opposite legs of the 3-wire electric supply which normally supply your home with 220/240VAC. That's what you'll probably get when connected to a load (i.e., you electric panel).

Welcome to the UDI forums!

The North American standard is 120 and/or 240 Vac  +/- 10%, and your generator, by the time you load it up, will probably deliver those voltages almost exactly.

Thanks for the help. My house is all electric. 2 a/c units, stove, cooktop ect. The odds of all this running at the same time fully loaded is slim. But, I understand the no load/full load set up. Thanks for the rapid response. I appreciate the help.
