stusviews Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 I have both an http and https address in the ISY finder. They differ only in the assigned port. Both have been OK until a few weeks ago. Now, on occasion, when I attempt to log in the https address is not in the finder, but the http address is always shown. Any suggestions? It's a PITA to keep re-adding the https address.
Michel Kohanim Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Hi stusviews, The http address is the one that the Finder finds on the network. The https is probably one that you entered. Anything that's not automatically found, will be deleted with the Java cache is cleared. That's why we have the Save/Load buttons just in case. With kind regards, Michel
DennisC Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Yep, I started having the same issue several weeks ago. I have not been able to pinpoint the cause and I haven't cleared Java cache recently.
stusviews Posted February 22, 2018 Author Posted February 22, 2018 I, too, haven't cleared the Java cache since the problem surfaced.
Michel Kohanim Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Come to think of it, I have as well! I think the latest Java or Windows clears the Java cache directory. With kind regards, Michel
DennisC Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I was thinking it might have something to do with a Windows update. I had one last night but I am not at the computer to check. I will check tomorrow.
DennisC Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Sorry for the delay in following up. I can confirm the clearing of the HTTPS ISY address is the result of Windows 10 update. I confirmed all was good and then completed an update the other night. When I checked last night, I had to re-enter the HTTPS address. Dennis
Mustang65 Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 I am using Internet Explorer for the browser and it happened to me also. They do not update that version anylonger.
