Fixing Intermittent Lost Communications

New to posting to this forum.  I have been using ISY for 2+ years now with about 50 devices throughout the house (all z-wave with a mix of battery and line powered devices).  Everything works great and is very stable except for one annoying issue that I can't figure out how to fix.

Keep having a recurring issue that happens about every few months with two different, but identical, devices in the same room.  I have 2 GoControl LB60Z-1 bulbs that will for no apparent reason lose communications with the ISY.  I have tried various combinations of z-wave synchronize, heal, repair, etc. and none seem to work to get them back and running.  I also tried powering the bad device off and then back on before I then issue the z-wave fixes (sync, heal, repair, etc.) and that doesn't seem to work either.  I have no problems removing the failed node and then going through the process to add them back into the network - at which point I have to go and update all of the programs where these are used since they get added as a new zwave node ID.  Will then work for anywhere from a week to ~3 months (random duration) before I have to go through the process again.  Happens to both devices (not simultaneously) and they obviously work as it is simple to add them into the network.  Running 4.6.2 with z-wave 4.55.  Minimal to no changes are being made to the network or ISY so it isn't due to me tinkering.  They are not the farthest physically located devices from the ISY as these are about in the middle of the network relative to the other z-wave line power devices.

Any suggestions on how to restore communications to a single lost device without going through the pain of removing it and adding it back in?  Is there something I am doing wrong?  Is there a way to add it back in with the same z-wave node so I don't have to monkey with programs?  I have left it alone this time hoping somebody points me in the best direction.

I had the same GoControl bulbs in my network in 3 basement stairs recessed can lights. Anytime the power in the house flickered or was lost of any amount of time, all three lights would fall off the ISY network, causing delays in programs and overall degradation of performance. I got rid of them and now all is well. $60 wasted, but at least now the problem is gone.

If you have other bulbs, you could swap them with those in other locations that are not having issues. If the issues disappear (and the replacements start having issues) then it would confirm bad communication in that particular area.

Thanks for the input.  The last communications that were lost can definitely be traced to a power failure so that may be what is causing these GoControl bulbs to lose comms.  I had already ruled out the location as being the problem as there are 6 other z-wave devices less than 8 feet from these bulbs.  Ended up using state variables for these bulbs so that if communications are lost, it is an easier fix than going through the different programs they are used in - just fix them in a single program and save.  Not the optimal solution but it will work until I can replace them with an alternative z-wave device.
