Geddy Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Great work with the iOS beta. Things seem to be working well for my testing. Although, I'm not entirely sure how FanLinc is supported and how it will work the connected light. My system has 3 FanLinc that are connected to 6 button keypad. I might be odd, but for two of them the on/off does not control the light, but rather fan speed. For those two there is another (dimmer) switch that is controlling the light portion of the FanLinc. This is in the living room and master bedroom. In the app the Fanlinc appears to have the light and fan combined, but when the light is 100% and the fan is on low the app shows the light to be 50-75% with the fan properly on "low". If I try to move the slider in the display the light does not change brightness. If I go to the switch for the light I can turn the light on/off and dim/brighten without problem. But on the Fanlinc "button" in the app the light slider and on/off does nothing for the light. Do I need to program the app differently, or should I disable the Fanlinc button in the app and only use the keypad and dimmer switch?
James Peterson Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 I may just need to debug it. Can you put the app into debugging mode and perform a few test on the fanlinc. Make sure you report exactly what you did so I can better understand the logs. Glad to hear the testing is going well.
Geddy Posted April 27, 2018 Author Posted April 27, 2018 Sure, but will be over the weekend before I can test it some.
